I purchased one motorized blind to make sure we liked it. We loved it so I ordered two more. But it was a mistake I made on the size of the next two. I had measured the inside of the windows but because we would be traveling, I didn't want to place the order and have them delivered when we were gone. When we returned, I placed the order, however, I had the inside dimension of the windows and had forgotten to add 6 inches to the length and width for an outside mount. When they arrived, I found out after I unpackaged them that I made the mistake. I notified the seller that I would be placing a new order for the blinds so they wouldn't be confused. I heard back from the seller that they would send me replacements at a discounted price without the motors. I'd have to take the motors out of the old ones and place them in the new ones. That was the easy part and they hung up very easily by myself which included a 100 inch blind. Now I had to reprogram the motor and remote due to the limit being set too short for closing the blind all the way down since it was 6 inches longer. The programming was the problem. My wife and I watched a YouTube video again and again and even wrote the directions down but couldn't seem to program it to the right limits. We contacted the seller again and they were very quick to respond. I searched and found another YouTube video that was much more detailed on the programming including many other features the blinds could do. With this video, we had both programmed correctly in no time at all. The seller was extremely helpful and with a little researching on our own, the blinds work like they should. The seller was exceptional to work with and we love the blinds. In most cases, as long as you give them the correct sizes and they program the motorized blinds at the factory. you'll save any hassle of programming them yourself and you'll be very pleased with the blinds. ... show more

What a Beautiful Product! ,I was a little hesitant about ordering such a custom-made large product from Amazon or anyone online. But I took a chance and ordered it on October 31, and believe it or not it was delivered by November 8. Eight days later it showed up just as ordered. What a surprise. The color was beautiful, the instructions were easy and it was built exactly as ordered. It came mostly programmed all I had to do was set the bottom limit, which was easy. Very good installation and programming instructions. After you order it they verify the order before they build it. These zebra blinds are highly recommend. The blinds are nice, albeit very expensive. The worst part to me is that the estimated black out is erroneous. For instance, the grayish white ones should be 90 percent; however, it is more like 60-70 percent with full light…these were installed in the bedroom and the light wakes me up, nearly as it would with just regular blinds. Frustrating since there is really no where else to install them but where they are. Installation, while not hard, is time consuming. Installation could be made easier and instructions are just pictures that are not altogether clear as to what the steps are, though it can be surmised. I would think to go with a different type of blind for the bedroom at least. These are fine where the amount of light filtering is not a concern. UPDATE: Credit Yoolax for following up on my review and attempting to assist. They were responsive and attentive, even shipping two new blinds. Interestingly enough, I was expecting just the fabric rolls, as they were deemed faulty from a light filtering standpoint, but received one with a motor and one that was manually operated. A little strange and a bit of a surprise but actually somewhat pleasantly surprised on the off. Interestingly enough once again, the brackets they shipped, which were not needed, have changed as well as the remote. It took me awhile to figure out the remote, since there were no instructions and I had to discover a YouTube video on how to add a blind to a channel on the remote. But I just simply installed it using the brackets that were already in place. After figuring out the tricky remote issues — the old remote could not connect and so I had to use a remote from a newer blind that I recently received — the blind still let in about as much light as before. The only practical solution I could think of is to wedge something against the fabric, so that there is a very little gap between the overlapping fabric layers. Still, this is not really a good solution, as it creates for more manual work than just manual blinds, which I was trying to avoid, and only mitigates the lighting issue. There is too much of a gap as it is and this problem will never be solved with the gap that exists on both sets. You would think that a company that specializes in blinds and has fielded customer complaints on this issue — as I read a couple other reviews citing similar issues — would either figure out how to make this work or quite simply adjust their advertising. While I am thankful for the extra blinds, albeit that I can’t really use elsewhere without it being a little clunky in that they were specific to custom windows — I would have rather just known upfront that this wasn’t what I needed to achieve what I was looking to achieve — which is stylish, motorized, blackout blinds with light filtering. I have wasted a lot of time and invested a great deal into blinds that do not work like I was hoping. I wish I had gone with the roller blinds and not these for the bedroom. I cannot give more stars to my initial review with this unresolved. Like I mentioned, good customer service for the attempt at least to make things right, bad engineering, QC/QA and advertising that should really be reconsidered. And beyond the light filtering issue, the remote they send is not user friendly and there are no instructions unless you find a particular YouTube video and forward all the way to the end of the video. Get it right the first time and make everyone’s lives a little easier, or continue to try to save the day when things do not go as they should. ... show more

I initially had issues with one of the blinds and it took 2 months to get it resolved. However, the supplier was very helpful at the end of the day and assisted with getting the fit/performance of the blind corrected. I love the looks and functionality of the blinds. They are fairly easy to I install. They do come preprogrammed with a remote. They also work with voice command with Alexa which is a nice feature. I would suggest following the measurement instructions to a tee. It would be nice if they offered a measurement template like other suppliers where you could take a picture if the window. I only ordered them for one room so I could see how they looked and performed before outfitting the whole house. There are lots of color options and blind options as well if you do not want to go the motorized route. Biggest complaint here is on Amazons end not the supplier. They were very little help in getting this issue resolved and the supplier actually jumped back in to get this resolved. Nice quality motorized shades. ... show more
