Excellent product. I replaced my noisy box spring with this durable bed platform. No noise and brought life back to my tempurpedic memory foam mattress. I did put some peg board on top of slats to add extra support but don't think it was needed.

So far no noises, the product is of great quality. it is a solid bed frame that looks good and modern. You won’t need a creaky box spring. It is rather elevated which makes it easy for vacuuming under the bed. If you are short, I would advise a lower height than 18 inches.
