I just received my new reel today fully protected, packaged nicely and secure. The best features for me is the color, I paired it with my 8ft ACC crappie STIX. I will test it out and let you know what i think of it. It for sure matches my pole with the solar line .One thing that caught my attention was the the button that collapses the reel handle nice to have. Cant wait to get it on the water, tested it out on the water and works great . Love the reel will purchase another at a later date and time. ... show more

I've gone fishing with this a few times, and it's a decent reel. Casts well, and pulls in smoothly. But, sometimes, it does lock up if you twist the binding too much without realizing it.

Pro's: Reeling in is smooth, except for the first crank; per each cast. Cons: When git it coated with a wee bit lil sand, it started to grind, especially first crank turn rotation. Too bad, because any bank shore fishing has some sand in the soil. The first crank gets a lil jammed stuck, but reeling rest in was smooth smooth. Sometimes when I flip the lever to cast, the lever does not stay put and thus the line does not cast. It is not high quality; not tough, not rugged, the parts are not as tight or sealed as I'd like it to be. ... show more

Picked this up for my sons fishing rig. We mostly fish for trout in the 1-2lb range. It did really well up until the last trip when the drag gave out. No click anymore, no stopping power. Made the rest of the days fishing very difficult.

PROS The reel arrived around 5 PM so I spooled it up with 30 pound braided line and a 12 inch SS leader. I live right off the ocean. I bagged a 27 inch blue and it fought hard but this reel was super smooth from the time the fish took my bait until I landed him 25 minutes later. It has a button you push in and the crank folds up. The only other reel that seems as good is the Kast=King but also cost just about 45% more then this reel that has 1 extra feature,m(FOLD UP CRANK) OK my con has nothing to do with any thing or part of the reel I confused because it says (YONGZHI) but the name is (SOUGAYILANG) SOUGAYILANG has some darn good fly reels and I think I have 8 from 2017 and and their so smooth and yet you still cannot feel any play in them. This YONGZHI is going to be a keeper and Blondie,who is a nurse,with those tiny smooth fingers said YES, this one seems to shoot that line out. She uses a 2 piece UGLY Stick. She made 3 cast and fell in love with it. The bail works smooth,the drag is super smooth. When word gets out this reel will be flying off the shelves Time to see what they offer in a good rod ... show more
