Just received this mini chaise chair and it gorgeous! Always wanted a chaise lounge in my bedroom but limited space for a regular sized one. And this color is PERFECT for my decor. As others said, it is challenging to get the screws in. From reading other reviews I knew you HAVE to pull the velcro covering on the seat of the chair all the way back to get to the screw holes to attach the legs and to attach the back to the seat. The other difficult tasks is get the screws to go in and using the Allen wrench in the tight space to try to screw them in. I did it solo, but asssembly will go better with 2 people when trying to line up and screw in the 5 screws to attach seat and back. It does have a firm seat, but ok for me because I don't plan to live in it for hours...maybe reading, or crocheting, winding down before bed, etc. I had an ottoman already that fit it perfectly..as other said, it's good to pair it with an ottoman for leg elevation/ comfort. I love this chair. I love the look, the feel, the size. It's slightly oversized for one person, and I love that. Plenty of room to lounge and get comfortable. The fabric is good quality, and comfortable. Not too stiff, not too soft. Right now, the chair lives in my garage because I like to hang out in there and love to just relax on it while enjoying the fall weather coming in. My only complaint is the assembly. It's been a couple months, so I don't remember all the specifics, but I DO remember struggling to get my fingers/tool into the right spot to secure parts. Aside from that awkwardness, though, I would definitely recommend this chair to anyone thinking about it. My best friend is even considering getting one because she loves mine so much. ... show more

I ordered these chairs after much deliberation, for my foyer which has an alcove to one side that literally serves no purpose. The chairs came in 2 pieces, back and seat, and were relatively easy to put together. The material is kind of like a linen which seems pretty durable and is definitely easy to clean with a damp cloth. They are not super comfortable and are actually quite hard, so definitely not the curl up and read a book type chair, but they are great for what we use them for which is basically a place to sit down and put your shoes on/off as you leave/enter the front door. ... show more

These chairs are amazing for the price. My only criticism is the instructions don't mention the velcro that attaches the fabric to the legs can be pulled back to access the assembly. Was so much easier once we figured it out on our own. Velcro wasn't obvious at all. Love, love, love these chairs.

These chairs are a good value. Difficult to put together though. First chair took an hour+ and second chair took longer. Two of the screws did not adhere to the frame properly and I had my husband drill new holes and added wood glue for extra support. I put them together myself otherwise (73 year old 5 foot woman) so anyone can if you have sufficient time and patience! They are very firm, which for me is a feature with my bad back. These are not a solid wood frame expensive item from the Carolinas or furniture you can expect to pass on to your children, but decent enough. Fabaric a perfect ivory color and nice linen look. They are large enough not to appear out of scale in my living room but small enough not to crowd the space. My feet touch the ground with a pillow in the back, otherwise wouldn't, but I am very short. Overall I would purchase again. ... show more

Got this as an accent chair for the bedroom, so it's not going to be used all that much. It looks just as nice as in the picture, and it's actually quite comfortable if you do want to relax in it, which I do occasionally. However, putting it together was strange and tricky. Maybe it's just me...I did it by myself which was awkward, trying to get everything lined up, screwed in tight, while holding the pieces together simultaneously. If you have someone to help you do it...it would be better, but yes you can assemble it by yourself. It also doesn't feel all that sturdy when you sit on it....again, it could just be my assembly, but it's okay when I relax in it, but I wouldn't trust a lot of weight leaning on the back of it, but for my purposes, this is fine. If you are looking for more of an accent piece, this is a great value and a lovely chair, I don't regret my purchase at all. But if you're putting this in a living area, where it's going to get some heavy use....I might think twice about it. My two cents. ... show more
