I’m going to be honest, for 9$ it’s pretty okay ~_~ I wouldn’t say it’s AMAZING but I wouldn’t say it’s bad either. The paper is a little thick but not so thick. It isn’t transparent but if you do use acrylic markers it will make the paper a bit wonky. :<

I purchased the Yoment 5.5” x 8.5” sketchbook for my niece, who recently started exploring her love for art, and it has been a fantastic choice! The hardcover provides excellent protection for her drawings and makes it easy to sketch on the go without needing a flat surface. The spiral binding is sturdy, allowing pages to lay completely flat or fold back for convenience. The 68lb/100gsm paper is surprisingly good for a variety of mediums. It handles pencil and colored pencils beautifully with no smudging or ghosting. Markers and ink pens work well too, though heavier markers may bleed slightly. While it’s not designed for wet mediums like watercolor, light washes hold up decently if used sparingly. The compact size is perfect for little hands or artists who want a portable option. The included pencil is a nice bonus, and the pink cover adds a fun, vibrant touch that kids love. One minor drawback is that the pages aren’t perforated, so tearing out a sketch cleanly can be tricky. However, that’s a small trade-off for such a high-quality and affordable sketchbook. Overall, this is a fantastic option for beginner artists or kids looking to express their creativity!
