Description

The Goosander A/T G015 is Yokohama's On-/Off-Road All-Terrain tire developed for drivers of light trucks and SUVs looking for a tough and durable tire capable of withstanding off-road duty while providing long tread life and year-round traction, even in snow. A chip- and tear-resistant Triple Polymer tread compound is molded into an aggressive, symmetric tread design to allow for easy cross-rotation and improved wear characteristics. Focus on the tread block pitch variation enhances comfort via reduced noise levels. The optimized tread pattern features deep circumferential grooves for water evacuation and hydroplaning resistance, with 3D sipes and lug grooves specifically shaped to increase the number of biting edges for all-season traction in light snow. The tire's internal construction consists of two high-tensile steel belts on top of a two-ply polyester cord casing and a spirally-wrapped nylon reinforcement to blend stability with ride comfort. Note: Yokohama Goosander A/T G015 tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake 3PMSF symbol. Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake 3PMSF symbol provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season M+S tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

This is a great tire!!

Have never used this brand before. Have used Goodyear, Dunlap, Firestone, Michelin and Primewell along with others over the years. I have been missing out!! These tires roll super smooth and make very little road noise. They change direction really well and brake even better. I put them on my Nissan Desert Runner which had a tendency to "step out" when corning at high speed with a bump in the corner. I could not believe it when these tires did not do that! This are a brand killer. I switched from Bridgestone to continental to Yokohama Geolandar in that order no regrets. Comfort, durability, awesome tires. So far these Yokohama are unbeatable. Once you use it will not go to different tire anymore.

Japanese Michelins that are Affordable

Want one of the best made tires available but don't feel like paying for expensive Michelin TV commercial air time? Look no further. Avid Ascends are a great all around tire - durable, quiet, safe, affordable, with very high quality consistency. Some models of Yokohama do not last very long - typically their sticky, sports car oriented ones. But if you choose the Avid Ascends for "normal" driving, you won't be disappointed. They are some of the longest lasting tires available - rivaling the best from Michelin, Continental, and Goodyear. never seen a tire that does not slip in snow and ice!!

these tires must be made of some sort of glue.. I have had a lot of tires in the past, nothing like these.. they go up a 30 degree ice covered blacktop hill like the ice and snow are not there.. no slipping nothing.. my other cars have major issues going up the same hill.. will be buying this tire type again for all the vehicles it supports.. ... show more

I installed these on my 2007 Tacoma Pre-runner. Went from a Bridgestone 245-75-16 to these Yokohama Outlander 265-75-16. Very satisfied with the smooth ride and also very pleased with the 1.5” lift on the truck . I’m a Expert Certified Toyota Technician and I personally mounted road forced and balanced these tires. Road force was under 5 lbs for all 4 tires. Very good tire for the price. Will buy again. ... show more

Great tires! Worth the price!

I bought these for my 2018 Subaru Outback. The Subaru dealer wanted $780.00 mounted and balanced. Tire Rack wanted $620.00 with free shipping. I paid less then $500.00 after buying and paying to have them mounted and balanced. I've been driving with them on winter roads, as well as dry roads, for over 2 months now and I can say that for the price, these work great on my Subaru. Very quiet!

My husband is super impressed with these tires! They look great and are much more quiet than he anticipated. We are in a rural area with very rough roads and he said these tires make much less road noise than the other, far more expensive brand that he replaced with these.
