I bought this to use as a travel crate. My dog was roaming all over the car from back to front seats and I wanted something safer for our upcoming trip. This seems like it will work for that purpose and also for crating at night away from home. It was pretty easy to pop together and was the right size. It does take up most of my backseat as you can see. I bought the 27.5 inch and kind of just wrapped the seatbelts around the whole thing. Not sure how durable it will be if doggie sets her mind to escape, but I have high hopes it will be just fine. The thin pad that comes with it is ok for the car, but I’ll bring another pad for sleeping.

We purchased enough to give 4 cats plenty of compartmentalized space for a cross-country trip. The large is big enough for a 21 inch cat to stand and move around. There's enough overhead space to hang a cat hammock with a small litter box below. The frame rigidity comes from attached aluminum piping inside. So, though the container is soft-sided and collapses for storage, it will protect your animal in case the cage rolls during a car accident. It's the perfect solution for giving your small to medium-sized pet space to move while still being able (...just...) to use it as an individual pet carrier too. No worries with cat claws on the webbing. We might use a twist tie on the overhead zipper for our two "Houdini's", however. There were no chemical smells to irritate pets either.

I absolutely love this dog crate and my dog loves being in it too. This dog crate has plenty of room! My dog weighs 20 lbs and my 2 and 3 year old sons get in and play with the dog a lot. This dog crate is very portable and easy to carry without taking up much space. At the same time, you only need 2 seconds to set up.

This was a very well-made unit. However, it was too big for my needs, and had to be returned. But I would not hesitate to buy it if I had a large animal. And if this would fit in my car, which it didn’t.
