This cord maker made it easier to make cords longer in a much shorter amount of time. I really love how consistent it is on thickness. I got this when it was on sale which made it an even better value. So far, I have not had any issues with it working correctly.I used my machine with worsted weight Yarn Bee acrylic yarn and the cords were even and perfect. The i cords stretched perfectly over the wired words I made them for, too.

This is a neat little machine. After a few fails, I was finally able to get some i-cord knitted. I’m not sure what I was doing wrong all of the initial times, but the yarn was just knotting up into a tangled ball on top of the needles. Finally got it rolling right & made some cord. Makes it in a generally quick time & the finished cord looks neat & orderly. Comes with everything you need, including a small skien of yarn to toy with. Comes with some spare needles & a screwdriver, but it doesn’t show anywhere in the instructions the whys & hows of them. I think they’re the same type of hooks that are already installed, but I’m unsure. There’s a screw on the machine near the needles, so I guess I’d just unscrew that & switch the needles out somehow.
There’s a USB cord included, but no plug...so you need to supply your own.
While there are clear enough instructions on how to use the machine, that’s about it. There aren’t any instructions otherwise...like sample project pieces to work on or whatever. There aren’t really any proper instructions on how to finish off the cords, how to attach them to others or how to do anything really. Just show how to work the machine to make the cords. I’ve never knitted before, though I did crochet many, many years ago. Would love it if this included some very basic knitting/crocheting things for actual beginners. Also, since it’s not mentioned elsewhere, I can confirm that this is made in China.

My power button doesn’t work unless I unplug the cord from the charging block and then plug it back in. That happens every time I turn it off and then back on.
