This lamp is pretty amazing. Using the (free) app, one could literally spend hours investigating the possibilities, which include the likes of "pixel" choice (accessed via the gear icon), making part of the lamp stationary while the remainder is in action. (I didn't include a video as the one on the product page gives you an idea as to the variety of light options.) The app is very intuitive/easy to use, but, if you're not technically inclined, someone with basic app skills can, er, light the way for you. Each option (Basic, Flow, Curtain, etc.) features rolling/scrolling options for color combinations. You can also control the speed and, with the remote, brightness. It also responds to sound via your phone or an external mike. If the lamp doesn't respond to the app or remote, I've found that, as with many electronic devices, a simple re-boot does the trick. The lamp is easy to assemble, in spite of the directions. :-) (Tools are included!) Connecting each section of the lamp involves pushing a button the the reverse and snapping it into place. If they are loose, small curved support sections can be inserted, but it's not clear (at least to me) how these are put in place. I dropped a star for a couple reasons. First, the lamp, while fairly stable, is very lightweight. So, if you have rambunctious kids/pets (pardon the redundancy) and/or have parties where imbibing is prevalent, best to either set it somewhere out of well-trafficked areas or weight it down. Second, as shown in the picture, the heads of the screws for one of the stand extensions aren't flush to the surface. If left as the underside, this could result in a bare floor being scratched or getting snagged in a carpet. As shown, my solution was to simply flip that extension over so the screws are on top. (While the screw heads aren't flush to the surface of the extenders, the stick-on pads raise the stand enough so that they don't touch the floor.) Obviously I have no idea if this issue is unique to the lamp i received, or a general manufacturing "defect". If the latter, the work-around as outlined is easy. ... show more

This LED lamp is super cool! Has a bunch of different colors and they are all very bright! We had this put together in literally 10 mins, maybe less even! We got this lamp just for fun! I will likely put it in the basement where we have our Xbox and my small office/workout area, just to give it a small vibe at times! This light is extremely well made and comes with a remote to change all the colors! I believe there is an app too to set even more colors but I have yet to set it up just yet! This is a super fun lamp for a fun room and/or a kid or teenagers room! It really lights up a space too! I am giving it 4 stars only because I think it is a Little more expensive than it needs to be. But, it is a nice product that I do recommend! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This mood standing light is fun but does not replace the regular standing light. It is not to make the room bright. It has lots of functions like changing colors, speed,s, and modes. The product quality can be improved by material and finishes. Good thing is that once you download the app, no need to sign in or connect. It just works right away. The media could not be loaded. This light is very bright and I love the trackpad type buttons on the remote. It didn’t come with instructions on how to use the remote but I guess I I’ll figure it out. Additionally my gripe would be that the light itself it’s facing outward and not inward, so if I put it in a corner, the light would be facing towards the wall, which kind of reduces the brightness of the light, I wish it was the other way around. It would be easier to position, otherwise the light works great and it has high quality metal as well. Came in a 50 inch tv box package. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble. Very bright. The front is plastic tubing covering the light but the rest is metal. Nice and tall. I’ve been looking for a corner light bar but the ones I’ve come across were around 50 inches, this one is 63 inches tall. You can just plug in and the light will strobe rainbow. The remote works easily to change strobe effects and light colors. Lots of options and you don’t HAVE to download an app to get good use from the light bar. But if you want to control it from your phone, set it to music or custom specific colors you will have to download the app. Excellent quality. I didn’t download the app yet but I did notice that when setting this up when I brought the light near my speakers, it picks up some radio signals from the led lights. It a soft hum, buzzing sound. So my speakers are picking up some sort of frequency that the light is emitting. Very subtle though. Makes sense if it works via remote that the lights are sending a signal out. ... show more
