This rug came to me in the package pictured. I was like there is no way that is a rug. It was a rug and it is a nice one. It’s slippery though I would watch out if it’s for an elderly person. Mainly because my sister had one like it in her bathroom and all it takes is a little water to make you zoom your way to meeting god. So just know it’s slippery. But as you can see it’s nice it’s soft. It has a nice cool feeling on your feet and the reviews about dogs liking it is no joke. I just put that down and they wouldn’t get off of it for me to get it straight. I got a 4x6 to replace a rug I got that was too big for the area infront of my couch. This one is still a little big but I like it a lot so I will make it work for that area. The color is perfect and I think it will hold up nice. It does have a padded backing with some anti-slip dots.. it’s not the back slipping that makes it slippery it’s the material it’s made out of. It’s a thoughtful rug though and worth what I paid for it. I say thoughtful because the edges are nice the rug feels good and it’s worth what you pay for it. The padding too it’s a nice padding.. when I opened the package I was just kind of in awe so it looked like a sausage ready to burst because it was expanding pretty quickly but it pulled out nice then was like one of those floaty devices you put around your neck on a plane.. just like zzziiippp and it was like rug shaped in my arms🙂 so worth it!! ... show more

Soft and great value for money but there was a chemical smell that took a few weeks to fade w/fan and open window. Bought it for my daughter's dorm room, and it fits well in the spot between the 2 beds. The color and softness were just right. I'd give it a 5 star review if it weren't for the smell.

I ordered the cream white 8x10 rug. For starters, it is so soft - I usually wear house slippers but my bare feet can't resist its fluffiness. However, as soon as I unpacked the rug, I was hit with a HORRIBLE smell. Like pure chemicals. So hard to ignore and started to give me a wicked headache. Unfortunately, the rug is way too big to put in the washing machine, so I can't really clean it at the moment. So, I resorted to spraying room scent all over it for now to hopefully neutralize the stench. However it's literally making my entire house smell like chemicals, and I only unpacked it a couple of hours ago. I'm hoping the smell will go away after a while. It's a cute, soft rug, and it makes my living room much more cozy. However, that smell will be the death of me. ... show more

This rug is perfect for my son’s dorm room. It’s very thin - so thin it came folded up in a box so small I didn’t realize it was the rug and it almost didn’t make it in the car when we were going to move him in. But despite how thin it is, it manages to be soft and cushy. Because it is so thin, it was a breeze to put down - we didn’t have to move any furniture, we could just lift the edge and push the rug under. He coordinated with his roommate so we got one big enough to cover the entire room. The mottled color hides stains and dirt (but not dirty socks, bowls of oatmeal, and other detritus found on the floor of most dorm rooms).
