The little ponytails are just styled in with clear elastic, so you can easily take them out and reposition to suit the look you need. The length is accurate and the hair has decent thickness/density. While there was a bit of shedding when brushing this out, it didn't shed too much more after that. Good value and perfect for a costume or cosplay. This rose red twin-tail wig is exactly what I needed for my stage costume this year. The color is incredibly vibrant, really standing out under the lights, and it's a true, rich rose red (not too pink or too purple). The 39.4-inch length is serious, so you have to be mindful about tangling, but it has a lovely flow and looks very dramatic. I appreciate that they included the wig cap, making it easy to get ready immediately without hunting down extras. It held up surprisingly well during a whole night of moving around. If you're trying to achieve a long, elaborate anime look for Halloween or any themed event, this works great.
