Beautiful! I have this in blue- and it is a bright, rich blue color. I bought this with my 18 year old elderly kitties in mind. They used to have a thick, lush sheepskin pad to sleep on and over the years it wore down. I wanted to give them the opportunity to snuggle on a sheepskin like pad again. I figured I would purchase one in blue so as to match the room they tend to hang out in the most. If for some reason they did not want to sleep on it, then it would just be part of my decor. Add textual interest. They weren't immediately drawn to it, but they do hang out on it. As do my labs. I move it around- it is just 2'x3' and cut in a perfectly odd shape (reminiscent of an animal hide but not a clear animal shape- more like a beautiful, colorful, furry blob). I tend to keep it draped over the back couch cushion. The backing is very flexible, so it will drape on anything you need it to. If you are using it on the floor, you may want to consider a carpet liner for added grip. All in all it has been a welcome addition. We use it very casually. It is just part of the background.
