I was extremely impressed with the quality and comfort of this rug. It is not a traditional woven rug like I normally get this one has padding that just makes it a delight to walk on. And I absolutely love color. Oh, and the dog loves to fall asleep on it too. It is the cutest thing!

    • Not really 5x8. Straight edges in doubt. Slippery.
The length of the rug is 8 ft. The width is about 4' 1/2 in. It arrived in an airtight bag that squished it down real tight so when first laying it out it's got a lot of creases and the edges are impossible to straighten out. NOTE: it is recommended to leave it out for 48 hours so it can settle, so we'll see about that. Finally, it's VERY slippery due to the fibers that were used to manufacture it. That could be more of a deal breaker than the size and current appearance. I'm going to wait a few days to see if things improve so there will be an update to this review coming. UPDATE: 02/27. The appearance did improve noticeably, however not all of the edges are straight. One section is bent in a little bit pushing the rug up in front of it a little bit. My stocking feet slip on it when I walk. I decided it was going to be returned not meeting my expectations. Unfortunately the Amazon product label was discarded in error so I'm stuck with it. I didn’t feel tricked by the purchase in any way. It’s great for the price. But u was expecting shag for some reason. It’s not shag. It’s that thin almost faux fur kinda material. I’d recommend if you just need something to cover a space real quick temporarily. But ultimately will replace these with higher quality later down the line. ... show more

I love this rug but it is a little hard to wash its really big and soft it is flat on the ground and lays out perfect its a really good quality its safe for cats babies and dogs my cat loves to play with the fur on it and it stays on it doesn’t fall off or any off that it dies not stick to any thing
