Easy assembly despite lack of written instructions (images only). Pieces are lettered, no tools required other than the allen wrench tool included with the hardware. It took me about an hour total to assemble both bed frame and trundle frame. I didn't have much room to maneuver during assembly so I did skip to attaching the head frame after attaching the back rail but before attaching the front rail so that I didn't have to climb "in and out" of the bed to assemble it. Also note that all four wheels for the trundle frame have locking mechanisms on them that not only prevent the wheel from rolling but also from spinning so I discovered if you lock the wheels before assembly it makes screwing them into the trundle frame so much easier (and you can screw them in nice and tight). Hardware comes with a couple extra bolts and a few extra plastic/rubber inserts that secure the bars the mattress will rest on. The rails already have the inserts in them but one of our rails was missing one insert so the extras came in handy. Bed seems really nice and sturdy, and doesn't take up much space. I also love that there is three different heights for attaching the mattress frame so that you can use a nice thick mattress on the trundle if you want. I am pleased with the quality of this trundle bed. It was easy to put together and fits the space we have for it. I am still waiting for the mattresses (different company) but I can tell that there is plenty of room for both levels to have a decent height of mattress.

The bed not only looks great, but it's super sturdy. Hubby weighs 230 lbs. and lounges on it when he's watching TV. The instructions for assembly were clear and easy to follow. Of course when you're putting anything together, having another person to help out is a plus. My scheduled delivery was perfect! Kudos to the seller and delivery service! I didn't need the trundle, so offering the bed 'with or without' a trundle may be something daybed sellers want to explore in the future. The bed frame is not durable at all haven’t had this frame for a month for my son and the bedrails are bent the bed is literally almost on the floor . Throwing away have to Purchase something new.

On one rail side the bolts holes were larger than the rest of the product. So now I can't finish putting it together so I can't use it. I was difficult to put together, it took 4 hours and some of the tools bent while being used. I contacted the manufacturer, and they said they could not send a new rail, I would have to ask for a refund. However, I am not taking that thing apart to ship it back to get a new one. There is no guarantee it won't happen again. Otherwise, it is perfect for what I needed the bed for. ... show more
