I was afraid this would be less than sturdy and at least a little squeaky. It’s neither. It was super easy to put together (although one of the first pictures doesn’t show which way a piece has to go so I had to look at the 4th or 5th page for that) and it’s a solid bed. Beautiful, sturdy, with a storage drawer. We bought this for our son for cheaper than our new bed frame and kind of wish I'd gotten two of these. This was a replacement for a different bed frame that came smelling of plastic/off-gassing/VOCs and wouldn't air out. No smells with this one!
