First, the disappointments: 1) The fabric is not soft. 2) The back cushion does not go high enough for your head unless you're 5'5" or shorter. 3) It is challenging to assemble (took me 3 hours), especially trying to figure out how to line up the legs. One of mine, I could only line up two of three screw holes, as one of the holes made the screw come out at the wrong angle. 4) The wrench included is insufficient, so bring an adjustable wrench or a wrench set. Now the Good: 1) Looks fantastic. 2) Created the safe and cozy effect I wanted for my therapy clients. 3) My clients love it and find it very comfortable. ... show more

Absolutely love this! Two things I would change: 1. It took significantly longer than the suggested 30 minutes to put together, and that was with using power tools and having two people. Directions were clear but spaces were tight and the lock nuts were difficult. 2. I don't understand why the hardware is all bright silver but the chair itself is black. Black hardware would blend in seamlessly and look so much better. Overall, a great value for the money. It's sturdy and beautiful. I'll be spending many hours reading in that chair! ... show more

Extremely difficult to assemble - screw holes do not line up and the metal frame is difficult to work with. The screws and nuts barely are long enough to hold the pieces together - I've put together lots of "furniture" and this piece was the most difficult. Once assembled, this chair is NOT comfortable.
