Perfect for pool chemical storage because chlorine especially will rust a metal cabinet or storage box whereas this type is impervious to that. Also, doesn't get as hot if it's in the sun which is another plus. Having the adjustable shelves is a nice feature to be able to customize it for your exact storage needs. The assembly was fairly simple by just going step by step and applying a little common sense and logic along with trial and error. As another reviewer noted, you have to use the flat head screws on the hinge where the two plates of the hinge come together when the doors are closed, otherwise the other screw heads protrude and will not let the door close all the way or will cause them to pop open after a second or two. The directions are not too clear about the exact screws to use here, but I noticed it when I looked at the hinges and how they close flat together (plus years of building wood cabinets). The price is in line with other, similar storage cabinets as I have two others that are about double the size, but cost twice as much. Compared to those, this cabinet is of equal quality and function to those and they've held up outdoors for years. I've only had this assembled and using it for a week at the time of writing this review, so if I encounter and longevity issues, I will come back and update my comments to advise. The shipping was fast and the unit came well packed with no damage, so no complaints there. 5- Stars!

The media could not be loaded. This was easy to put together aside from one of the brackets being off center of the pre cut holes. It’s pretty sturdy and will be of good use for small yard items. Seems like it will last a while as well. However, for whatever reason, the plastic roof of the shed came filled with liquid. The liquid does not leak out or drain. I’m not sure if this is by design or some kind of weird manufacturing error. Not that big of a deal at the end of the day, just odd. But the biggest issue is that once assembled, the doors don’t seem to want to stay closed. Not sure if this is because of a warped floor or roof on the shed or if they always have this problem. Could be because the tabs on the doors are too short. This is the reason I’m reducing the rating, as I feel the doors would need to stay shut for it to be an effective product overall.

I got this storage cabinet for my shed to use as a tool storage and workbench. Panels are very sturdy and made from heavy and dense plastic. Panels have pressure equalization channels to avoid swelling or imploding with temperature rises and falls. Panels and hardware are letter labeled for easy identification. Step-by-step assembly instructions are included. Manual lists multiple configurations for installation of two included shelves. Padlock eyes with an integrated latch are included as well. It was easy to assemble. I did it alone without any help. I used an electric screwdriver set to the lowest torque setting and it didn’t strip any plastic even though I remember that I still managed to strip both aluminum screw heads and plastic threads using this screwdriver in the past for other assembly projects.

(Notice: I have put many many things together by myself as my husband will not lol. If there are special words for parts etc.. this review will not be for you because I don't know the names for things but will describe them as I can and give an accurate picture.) I can't say how excited I was when I found this yet how disappointing it is when I received and put together. I recently built a deck for my pool and purchased to hold my pool chemicals underneath the deck since its not only waterproof/weatherproof but also has shelves included as others you had to purchase the shelves seperately or add wood. So when it went onsale I jumped on it. I always read reviews when purchasing. My first clue should of been that when I read reviews and the pictures were minimal basic outside not much said about it and only reviewed by the people that got it for free I should of known thats why you can tell that it is not together correctly, sides/doors not matching up and nothing said about the shelves. Well I put it together everything was labeled great, all holes matched up perfect pieces went together easily, took me longer the the 10 minutes the reviews said once you have to start screwing things together but still it was fine. Then I put the doors on.. once you close them they DO NOT LINE UP.. one pops open popping open the other door. The latch doesn't connect (also there could have been a dip in the swing latch part to fit over to other door for a better hold but no) mostly for looks. However I noticed I am missing shelves. Which is the only reason i purchased. I also saw the different pictures of the only spots you can place the shelves and none of them work for me. I was looking to put 2 shelves at the top together for smaller bagged pool chemicals and the tubs of chlorine at the bottom under the shelves. It said adjustable shelves with all the dents and knockouts on the inside I didn't notice until now thats all you can do it the pictures. So I am kinda glad I didn't get the shelves as now I am taking it apart to return. I also put my phone with the flashlight on inside and closed the doors. I did get alot of light coming out the the creases at the bottom. I tried to see if any of the screws were off or lose but nope everything was exactly where labeled and sitting flat. I haven't had this in water or outdoors in use as I won't but if that much light comes through the creases I'm guessing so will water and bugs. I have also included a level on top in a picture as I thought maybe it wasn't level and thats why if was rocking and parts off balance, not lining up even though all within the factory spots thinking maybe once I got it outside, under my deck and inuse it would be better.. but no it is level. I can't comment on how sturdy the shelves are or aren't or if they line up as I don't have any. I did put a picture with yellow lines as to the only places they can go. Looking by all those holes/bump outs I thought you could pop the shelves in where needed and the pictures shown in listing were showing different ideas. No those are the only placements. I'm also guessing they screw in as there are the sames holes in those areas and bracket I have left which I'm guessing are for shelves. All I know now is my search will continue, you get what you pay for and this is not it. My excitement is gone
