I know the headline is a bit much. Is this really the best review for this chair? I would think so because Ive read all the reviews before purchasing. Identified common problems, and sought to be as informed and knowledgeable about the product before they dollied it in to my living room. (btw delivery was wonderful for this product. I set up a time and they were very responsive to my needs as I had work and they delivered early in the morning) Now to the nit and grit Overall. THIS CHAIR IS WORTH IT. Now I speak as a 5 foot 1 and a half medium sized person, alongside my fiance who is 5'8 athletic build. Is this chair accommodating for taller and wider individuals? Yes, I would say so just after moving the leg piece up down and around. Opening and peeking into the hardware, and having my dog jump up and test the quality of the leather.... (i wanted to check the durability of the product, and it is solid platform) However, this height and weight accommodation is up to a certain limit. I would find it in your best interest to contact the seller or read reviews from the taller verified purchases on this page. However, for those closer to the ground like myself (or anyone really) this chair does a great body scan to find your body placement in space. This trick is LAY COMPLETELY STILL as the chair does a body scan...if you're moving around a lot the scan wont create proper proprioception for the chair. The neck massage was at my neck, the back message was at my back...really nothing was out of place for me at least. Overall this is a big bang for your buck purchase. Every pre set mode was excellent. Manual mode was super pleasing and easy to use. (Ill go over some tricks for setting up everything). I love being able to control intensity, dictate a wider, narrow, or medium width for massages, and turn the air bags off ect. The blue tooth speaker doesn't have the best sound quality, but it works well for what it is. Don't expect bose quality surround sounds. This is a massage chair first and foremost not an entertainment center (pay extra if the Bluetooth would be a make or break.) IF WE ARE SPEAKING SOLEY ON MASSAGE, then this is it. I've tried over 6 types of massage chairs from low quality to very high quality, and this is a very wonderful medium if not high up there on massage quality. TRICKs AND TREATS This section is to address common questions and concerns on how to use this chair. First. Measure your door and space you want to place this. Dimensions are available on this page...or packaging i would add 4-5 extra inches on each side for a gauge of the crate it will come in. You will thank me later. My doorway is standard and the shipment was able to fit through no problem.....BUT IN CASE YOU DO HAVE A PROBLEM, and find yourself breaking down the box outside your door way. 1. The arms are detachable. You need tools. There is a video on this PAGE on how to remove the arms. Its in the section for product videos. Watch and re watch its an easy but long process, and have tools readily available. 2. A lot of people have complained that they wish the chair didn't start up right away. I found that if you understood the remote controls that by the time the chair was done body scanning you could already select the program or manual setting you want. 3. How to use the remote. Aside from the okay button you need to utilize the right arrow button on some of the menu selections. For example manual mode. Let say you want to change the air bag intensity....when you land on the selection "air bag intensity" dont hit OKAY....hit the right arrow...viola! your menu selections appear and you can then select OKAY. SAME THIS WITH BLUETOOTH...yes the manual says Bluetooth is automatically on, but you need to turn on the pairing mode. Same concept, Go to menu navigate to Bluetooth. When BLUETOOTH is highlighted in your menu selection DO NO HIT OKAY when you float the selection over the word "Bluetooth".....INSTEAD press the right arrow and you will see the selection ON and OFF....select "on" then hit OKAY. Your chair will chime a noise letting you know its ready to pair. Once youre in your shiatsu listen to your favorite pod cast, music album, or just watching TV I hope this review got you to your maximum level of comfort! CHEERS! ... show more

First off, out of control from this company but I saw it was front door delivery... Delivery guy(ONE GUY) gets here and says he doesn't go up stairs... So that changed my whole plan..they dumped it in my garage and I had to take it apart to get it through the door. No way I could get it upstairs myself. So I follow the video and within 25 mins (I am a handyman) I had arms off, through the door and back on.. I've been sitting in the chair trying a bunch of stuff out. It's pretty darn good. One guy said he wished the butt/hammy was stronger... Solution, unzip the bottom pad and there's another zipper and just take the foam pad out. Definitely increases intensity. The air pressure is strong, the foot massager is perfect. It's pretty easy to use. I'm very pleased. ... show more

Amazing chair. Has all the features of the very expensive chair at a reasonable price. Pro's: Adjusts neck and feet to accommodate tall and short people. Actual massage and air pressures are completely adjustable from mild to deep tissue. Surprisingly good foot/calf massager. Multiple massage techniques; shiatsu, pounding, vibrating, heat. Gentle hip and shoulder shift. Customer service was efficient; chair was here in 4 days. Cons: If over 200 lbs it would be a tight fit. Must adjust all settings each time ( no memory). Arm pressure squeezes arms nicely but then you can't make adjustments with remote as your hands are inside the sleeve and the remote is in your lap. Bluetooth makes a very loud connection confirmation tone. ... show more

I bought this for my husband about two years ago. It was a birthday/father's day gift. Our friends had one very similar. It wasn't the same brand, that brand was sold out at the time of this purchase. Their chair was very relaxing and I loved the foot massager. This chair, I might be the only person that leaves their feet in longer than a minute once it starts. No, matter what pressure setting it is on, it almost hurts the majority of the time. The shoulder air bags and arm air bags are very pushy and restraining. It doesn't save settings so you have to manually adjust it each time after it starts up and then auto scans. You can use an auto setting, but everyone who has tried ours wants to turn some part of it off. It is usually the foot massager or all the air bags. I wish the lighter setting was way lighter. It's a lot of work to relax. I'm not sure if we got an abusive chair or if they are all that way. Shipping was great, delivery was great! The chair is heavy. It has wheels, but I suggest you get two people to roll it, if you move it in your home. ... show more

I must say this chair is HEAVY!! We hired movers to get it in the house and downstairs with no problem. It is very easy and straightforward about use and start up. Bluetooth was easy to connect. Speakers are OK for what they are. Didn't really expect high grade but they definitely get the job done. It is so super comfortable and relaxing. So many variables of use! You can pretty much set your massage, position, intensity...etc just to your liking. I only wish the rollers had a few more higher setting for those really stressful days but all in all I am super happy with the purchase. I hope it holds up! ... show more

    • Over priced, poorly thought out controls and overall disappointing.
No yoga functions as advertised. Has to measure you every time you use it. Foot rollers are uncomfortable. Locks your arms into the chair so you have to wait several minutes to be able to change programs. Shoulder airbags force your arms out of armrest or if your arms are locked down the shoulder airbags are painful. Calf airbags hurt. This wouldn’t be a good $800 chair much less a good $1800 chair. I don’t believe I have ever been more disappointed in a purchase. This chair is going back for a refund even thou I have to pay all but $50 of the return freight. This has been a colossal disaster. ... show more
