After surgery, I needed a piece of furniture to use in the living room when not in my upstairs office. This fits the bill in all the ways, plus it looks great. It has easy rolling drawers for holding small office items and a deeper drawer for working files. The feature of having outlets on the top of the unit make it easy to charge laptops and phones. The larger shelf is a great and safe place to put the laptop when not in use. It took about 2.5 hours for my hubby to put together and all the pieces were there. We used our own tools vs what was provided. Overall, it is reliable, sturdy and a great deal for the money. I like that I can roll it up to my recliner while working and slide it back to its place when work is complete. Would definitely order again! A++

I love this thing! It was a pain in my butt to put together but so incredibly worth it. I just wish I hadn’t lost the key to the top drawer because now I have things locked in it that I can’t get out. I love that it has wheels and I can plug my printer in to it instead of having to relocate the printer.

It is a good place to place a printer and other paperwork. It has a lot of space between the shelves and drawers so holds everything. The wheels on the bottom make it convienent to move around if needed. It is sturdy enough that you don’t have to worry about it falling apart. It does require some level of patience as there is a lot to assemble, everything is well labeled and didn’t have any issues with holes not lining up as long as you have the right parts.

I just built this pretty much by myself (24y/o woman). I don’t know if some reviewers had terrible instructions or were missing things, but instructions were well depicted and easy to follow! It works for me and feels sturdy for what I need. I’m not an expert, but I’d give it a 10/10 and would recommend.

Just as a heads up as to my point of view of this . . thing, I did construction for over 12 years and built a good amount of custom furniture. I was expecting it to be built out of particle, which it is, very badly. Cons- There is a few of the instructions that are wrong, the rail placement for the drawers is one of them. The pre drilled holes are bad. Most being too big, especially for the wood dowels, crooked and some just not even there. The fasteners are CHEAP. And some I've never seen before, and this isn't my first particle board box. The filing cabinet.. struggles. One bar is secured, the other is "adjustable" for different size filing folders. The bar just flops around and when it is in one of the slots it's actually lower than the other side by a good amount. The idea of the caster wheels is good. But when you expect 4 TINY screws to hold it to particle board, you're not going to have them there very long. First time you roll over something with any resistance to them and weight in the box/shelf thing they are tearing off. The plug box is awkward and the cord location is just sad. Don't buy this if having an actual locked drawer is a necessity. It's particle board. 1 good tug and it's coming apart. PROS- It's a great design idea. And if you're not going to have a lot of weight in it (filing cabinets usually do) than it could possibly last you a while as long as you arent moving it around. It can be made a little more robust. You will need extra supplies though. Wood glue for all the wood dowels. Real screws and a drill bit to secure the pieces together. I'd recommend inch long drywall screws. They hold particle board pretty decently, but you need to predrill the holes first, and yes you will see the hardware but it will be more secure. And if you need the wheels, I'd recommend drilling all the way through the wood for them and putting a nut and bolt to secure them. For me, not worth it at all. I know this won't last long for me and will be disassembling it and returning it.
