I have been very pleased with this purchase.. The materials seem to be solid and are in good shape with one minor exception noted below. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble the crate using the picture directions. My 55 pound dog is already crate trained so I can not speak to security if you have an escape artist or crate averse dog, but it seems at least as sturdy as my traditional metal crate. I put the tray inside the crate to make the bottom solid which also helps with weight distribution. Pros: -Quality, heavy wood and side metal panels -More attractive than metal crates -Comes with lockable wheels and interchangeable adjustable feet -2 doors helps with placement options -Has tray that can be easily removed and cleaned instead of a wooden bottom Cons: -The metal grid bottom has a slightly bent rod -Adjustable feet are hard plastic which will scratch wood floors (use pads to protect floors) ... show more

I wasn't sure what this crate would look like in my studio apartment but it turned out to look great. It's imperative that I use the space I have wisely because it is a 400 square foot studio The end table/crate is sturdy and durable. Best of all, my dog will go right into at night it without going through his normal 10 minute routine. I was amazed when on the second night he just jumped right into it without all the cajoling I used to have to do with his previous travel crate. I am so glad I bought it. I almost considered buying another one because I have three dogs but I just don't have room for it. Great price too. ... show more

Super easy to assemble, I used a cordless screwdriver with the allen head socket and was able to assemble it less than 30 minutes. I went with the foots instead of the casters so my toy Yorkie can get in and out of the kennel alot easier. I also installed the stick- on felt pads under the foots to protect our hardwood floor and it makes it easier to move the kennel around if needed. The kennel fits in well with our oak furniture and looks way better than using a plastic kennel or the all metal wire cage. The quality of this kennel is very good and the slide out tray is a nice feature if your kennel training your dog. Another reason we went with this kennel is the top has rounded corners so not having to worry about hitting the corner with your leg. ... show more

So very disappointed. My two frenchies broke out of this kennel not once but twice. This second time the door is totally destroyed. This kennel is not built very strong. Take caution before proceeding with this purchase.

Love this crate! First off it was packed beautifully! The packing was wonderful! It was packed very securely and was easy to get out of the box! The crate was very easy to put together my 71 year-old husband had it put together in about 30 minutes that was after separating all the pieces and it went together without a hitch! The only problem we had was that the instruction booklet was not very dark printed it had looked like it was faded, and it was very light, which made it difficult to read, but it still worked for us. The crate is absolutely beautiful. It looks like a piece of furniture. I placed pictures on top of it of our dogs from the past along with a blue runner. I love the way it looks in our house. It fits perfectly in the spot. We wanted it and our pup. Sammy seems to like it very much! I couldn’t stand the side of a regular old crate sitting in the middle of my living room floor this is absolutely beautiful! The brown is a beautiful color and goes well with our decor. I thought the price was pretty decent. The quality is great so therefore, I think it’s a good value for the money! If I had to do it again, I’d buy it again ... show more
