    • No inserts for screws. Lid falls apart in 6 months.

The lid over time will shrink and the metal frame underneath doesn't have screws that are long enough nor does the lid have inserts for the screws and they will both delaminate and separate. For the price you'd expect something a little better. There are better options in Amazon that last a lot longer and have inserts for all screws and don't go directly into plastic. ... show more

I really love this box! I was able to assemble it alone. One corner was dinged in a bit on arrival, but I'm not going for a photo shoot here. Advice: having a ratcheting screwdriver and a decent (12 pound or so) rubber mallet made snapping in a breeze. It is a bit awkward to assemble but manageable for one handy person and a breeze for two. My only complaint is the pressurized hinge mechanisms stretched fully out before I indtalled them (I was trying to check and made sure they worked and now will not retract, so if anyone has a fix for that please lmk. Otherwise it's sturdy, holds a lot and is well worth the price! ... show more

I purchased this for some extra outdoor storage. I managed to assemble it myself but it would be easier with two people. The lid is very heavy, so I do not doubt the 1000 lb. weight capacity. Unfortunately, that also made it difficult to attach by myself. I had to prop it up against my house to align it properly. I suggest assembling it at the location where you want to keep it, as moving it is not fun. It is very durable and has plenty of space. I just ordered a second one. Highly recommended. ... show more

Perfect size, wicker is realistic, much more room then expected, and exactly what I was looking for! We have really bad and hot weather here in Texas. Showed up three days early via UPS. Was not that difficult to assemble. Forgot to get the back hinge put in before installing other arm rest. Luckily I was able to get that unassembled without breaking anything. Missed that part in the assembly instruction pictures. Bench is sturdy.
