I received my set of Yiranok blocks and they were nicely packaged. The blocks are individually divided and placed in a foam kaizen type permanent liner. The liner is in a plastic case with two latches. The latches seem flimsy for long term durability but time will tell. The plastic case was in a cardboard box custom fit so you could keep the plastic box in the shipping box if you wanted. The blocks were nicely anodized with no visible defects. I spot checked three random blocks and one was dead on and the other two were off .001, more than acceptable for any kind of table saw or router setup. The blocks were measured with a Harbor Freight digital caliper so it is hard to say the exact size discrepancy. HF is no Starrett. Highly recommended for the price, fast shipping, great packing, great value, will be handy to have in the work shop.

I’ll preface this by saying that the whole set is an incredible deal for the money. You’ll easily be paying at least $60 (probably more) for the same thing from a name brand. The smaller setup blocks all measured pretty much dead on with their stated thickness. I was a little disappointed to find that the 123 block isn’t machined to the same tolerances. Specifically, the 3” side is .008” (1/128”) short, and the 1” side is .015” (1/64”) long, and almost .020” long at certain points. If you’re using this for woodworking, like setting up your table saw or router, being 1/64” off probably won’t be noticeable, but for actual machining you’ll want to get a dedicated set of precision 123 blocks. Once again, though, what you get is a great deal for the price.

The 1 2 3 block is not machine correctly. The 2” and 3” side are very good but the 1” thickness is about .015 over. That 1” block is probably the most used measurement for setups. When setting up the table saw for crosscuts using the miter gauge I always used the 1” block against the fence, add the inch and get accurate and repeatable cuts. I do have other 123 blocks, just have to remember not to use the red one. All the other gage blocks are very good, don’t know why the 1” gage is so far off.

Just wanted to add a quick note for others. I recently bought these setup blocks, and they were dead on accurate. Checking the 1x2x3 block with calibers and every side was one right on the money. Spot checked a few of the others and they were all exactly the right measurement. For the what I am using them for (Woodworking) these will be perfect. And the price is very reasonable. Plus they come with a nice case for storage and organization. I say this is a great deal. Very happy with the purchase.

These aren't extremely accurate but as long as you use these for all of your setup then they work fine. They are really just a standard to help setting up tools and making tight joints, not for anything that need precision.
