This lamp is a very unique eyecatching lamp. The wooden base is not anything to rave about at is seems to be normal and somewhat budget wood you would expect on a lower priced product. The brightness of the lamp is more useful as a night lamp given its size and shape. This LED USB powered desk lamp is great! It does require very minimal assembly using the nut and bolt using the provided L-wrench. It has three light settings, Warm, white, and cool. With 5 brightness setting. These settings are controlled with push buttons on the cord. You have three buttons: The middle is off/On and the light color setting and the left and right buttons control the dimming and brightness. The cord is approximately 2.5 feet long. The brightness on the highest setting is very bright! More than enough to provide light for a 15x15 room to read a book. With this lamp being powered by USB, I tried it on multiple power sources 110V power plug, obviously providing unlimited run time, and the plug never did get hot when the lamp was set to the highest setting. I also used a 10,000 mah power bank and on the brightest setting the lamp ran for 6 hours on the dot! For under $20.00 bucks this lamp looks great and can serve in multiple lighting needs! This would also be great for dorm rooms, areas where there is no power outlet as long as you have a USB power source. If you have 110v that converts to USB wattage, what a great way to save $$$ and see have light in a room and look cool doing it! ... show more

Quality I was surprised by the material of the light. The twisting light is made of a rubber material (the part where the light comes from). It gives it a beautiful design and look when it’s turned on. The wood base is a sanded but unpainted and uncoated wood. So it catches here and there. Ease of use The length of the cord will probably only allow it to be a bedside lamp. It wouldn’t be good as an across the room lamp as it does not have a remote and it doesn’t have a long cord. It’s very simple to use. It has 3 options. You can turn the light up down or different kelvin. I love the brightness of this light. It’s surprisingly bright. I hate that they don’t provide you a usb block. They should have used a regular power cord. That dropped it to a 4*. Directions The directions are dead simple.     • Nice lamp, unusual instructions... "Avoid looking at the lamp..."
The lamp was nice and all, and did all the things it was supposed to. However, when I read the directions, this one thing caught my attention... Quote: "Avoid looking at the lamp when turned on. Looking at the light source can be harmful to eyes, avoid staring directly into the lamp when turned on." One would WANT to look at the lamp, since it's unique, and not have to worry about it being harmful to one's eyes if they looked at it too long. Other than a laser light, I've never heard of that. Anyway, that scared me enough to not want to use it. I'm only deducting one star for that since other people may not take that statement literally. Very nice design and I love that it has a real wood base, not some fake plastic base to look like wood. It's even brighter than I thought it would be. The only thing I don't like about it is where the controls are and it's on a pretty short cord. But that's my personal preference. If the controls were closer to the base or even somehow part of the base, it would be better and be 5 stars. Maybe have the controls recessed into the top of the base so it would be easier to control. Either way, I really like the modern style and very bright light. ... show more

This is a really fun little bed stand lamp. It gets really bright and has multiple dimming and warmth options that work well. It looks really cool in the dark. It looks a little bit more in line with its inexpensive price in the light when not turned on. However, at this price, this is a very cool lamp. It comes with a 5amp brick but, of you are like me, can just plug it in to something existing. This is perfect for a desk or bedstead. I really like it and hope one of my kids don't steal it. The media could not be loaded. This was the third Yieonshion that I bought, and it is a bit different from its geometric shapes sisters in that the body of the lamp is attached directly to the wooden base without tapering. For the rest, it follows similar canons of simplicity with modern lines and materials. As for the other two, my only criticism of this lamp is that it needs to cycle through the three white tones to be turned off vs. having a dedicated on off switch, and I would have liked the max brightness to be brighter. ... show more

Got this for my bedroom because even though I have lights all over the walls, I didn't have any light for when I wanted to write or do any art or reading. This lamp is the perfect size for a side table or nightstand. It is a very cool design too. It has three different colors of white light, each with several different levels of brightness. There's no assembly whatsoever! Just take it out of the box, plug it in, and you're good to go!! It has a switch on the cord that you can adjust the color and brightness. Once you have pressed it three times and gone through the 3 different colors of white, one more press and it will turn off. The base of it is made from a very nice natural wood and the whole thing is very light in weight. Doesn't take up much room either. I am very happy with this lamp. If I'm doing something and my daughter is in here and happens to fall asleep, I can make sure that the light is dim enough to not wake her up and be a nice, soft color so to not be shocking when she gets up.
