Okay so first of all, I tried out blink/ring and I have finally arrived at Yi now. Blink don't have as much functionality as YI, what I mean by that is that for example, PRO - you can turn on/off camera light - you can turn on/off IR light Nightvision (BONUS, this helps so much if you are recording at night through a window). I have it pointed at my front door through the window. -MicroSD card 64 GB to store so you don't have to pay monthly CON -it doesn't capture motion as well(I walked IN front of it 3 times, and it only recorded the first time) -the monthly price seems higher compared to blink/ring/costco camera prices. (don't matter cause i'm using a microSD card) But it doesn't matter, because what I did is 1. turn on 24/7 recording. (what this does is 100% records everything on SD card so you can view all detection or non detection 2. Turn off night view IR light, what this does is that at night the IR is turned off so you actually can record through the window rather than a reflection of a window light that basically don't see anything. with the IR light off, i see a great monocolor view of my front patio Overall, the picture is good, having the ability to record locally is a plus and i'm just testing it now for a day and see how much can I record on the 64 GB microSD card I have in it. Aunque tengo algunos peros… necesita una tarjeta SD para que pueda guardar los videos (cosa que no tengo) o necesitas bajar otra app que pagas mensual para que te deje guardar los videos. I loved everything about this camera. I have had them about 2 years now. But now that everything has gone to 5g they no longer works. So I have 8 cameras that doesn't work on 5g speed. As long as you have under 5g they will works. It could just be me idk but they worked good all the way up until a few months ago. I have tried to reboot reset etc. Even bought new cameras and they all say the same thing. Can't connect on a 5g. Only 2.4g so yea. Rotating the cameras was good as well. Even though we got the plan that includes continuous monitoring of movement it only records about a minute every 11 minutes or so when there's constant activity. We went back to figure out how a small house fire started in our home and it started 8 minutes after the last recording ended and we had it out before the next recording began. Not super helpful.. The first camera we got only started recording at sound, not movement like it was supposed to. After lots of back and forth with support they said they'd send a new one. A month later I asked where it was. THEN they actually shipped it. With a plug that doesn't fit any plug in I've ever seen (I'm guessing it's for European outlets? ) Thankfully an old phone charger was able to do the job. Now that it's replaced the cameras *seem * to be working, but the subscription isn't recording consistently which makes them pretty useless, and it was $100 to get the subscription, and customer service pumps out 3 generic responses from the website before they actually help you with your situation. For 2 years my cameras ( 8 ) have had nothing but issues. Called customer service and they said it is my wifi. I have the best tier wifi in the Arizona valley and I have wifi 7 extended pods in 6 places for ultimate wifi. This product is crap. Don't buy it!

The cameras are easy to set up and the quality of audio and video is good. The cameras don’t rotate but they have a wide range. Also one of the cameras that I got the speaker doesn’t work but overall it’s a good camera for the price range.

It took forever to get them hook and setup. The only thing is, it’s hard to erase them to erase the nonsense that you captured on the cameras. You can only delete one at a time and if there’s 50 pictures you can’t do that to every camera every day there Has to be an easier way to do it.

As long as you have a 2.4 wireless available where you'd like to set up the cameras you will be great. They were so easy to install. I set all 4 up in 15 minutes total and that includes opening the packaging. We are super happy with these cameras and the app.
