I had a Walmart cooler that was a similar size that claimed it would keep ice for up to 2 days but wouldn't last more than 4 hours. This Yeti cooler kept ice for 4 days with 18 soda cans and 15 and a half pounds of ice. When we camp it typically takes us 3 or more days to get to our destination and having cold drinks available in our vehicle as we travel is a must. I have had this cooler for 5 days. I pre chilled for 8 hours and then added 15 pounds of ice and some drinks. With regular usage this cooler has kept the ice solid since. On day 5 we are finally seeing ice melt but the cooler is still keeping everything super cold. Would recommend this cooler to everyone but definitely wait for a sale.
