Absolutely love my Yeti Roadie 24 2.0. Rescue Red looks awesome. Also purchased the black metal basket, a clear hard cooler plastic basket and two-2 lb. ice packs. I travel longer distances occasionally and it fits perfect in the back seat of my F-150. Eight drinks, food, snacks, cutlery, with ice, all fit perfectly. Now it’s not huge, but very accommodating. Looked at the Yeti Roadie 15 and thought it was a little small. Probably perfect for a day trip, work, but not for multiple days. I also see the Roadie 24 likely more accommodating for a day at the beach. The shoulder strap makes carrying the cooler easier. Frees up the hands to carry something else. The 3+ lbs over the Roadie 15 is reasonable for the extra space. As for the longevity of the ice, at 2 1/2 days I drained the water and added ice. Everything remained cold and about half the ice melted. That said, leaving the Cooler in the truck during hot weather didn’t help it. I’m good with how long it lasted. As for the drain plug, definitely quality. Nothing like typical drain plugs on other coolers. Real quality. I acknowledge the Yeti’s expensive, but have no regrets. As they say, “you get what you pay for.” I’ll have this for a long time.

It is pricey. But so far is worth. I have heard the handle goes away after a bit, but I'll be the judge of that after a year or two (assuming it goes that long). I have not tested how long ice lasts for overall, but I only need it to last from 4am -> 5pm, and so far a 2/3 frozen 3L bottle lasts the entire day, keeps everything nice and cold, and is still at least 85% frozen at the end of the day. There is no zipper on this model (it asked me about one) x'D... and to my knowledge, it does really good on water retention. I'll test that out properly if I ever need to just have a bunch of drinks in the cooler instead of my lunch x'D

This cooler has been exceptional. It’s a costly purchase for a cooler no matter how much money you have, but it’s well worth it if you want you food to stay cool and not spoil. This cooler is also extremely durable I’ve found and has a sleek design that is very minimal but appealing. I haven’t had any leakage whatsoever while using it but I only use it for around 12 hours at a time for now. The I use Yeti’s ice sheets and the ice lasts for every bit of time I use them and then I throw them back in the freezer and repeat. If you’re looking to keep something cool for multiple days, then I would highly recommend using real ice with the yeti ice sheets as a duo and you can likely get a few days of cold out of this cooler. I haven’t tried it myself yet, but I will and I’ll report back. Very happy with this cooler overall.

Once a yeti cooler owner, always a yeti cooler owner. Durable and the perfect size for a picnic etc. Keeps food cold especially when using the yeti ice packs. And I loved the camo.

This is possibly the greatest cooler ever made. It keeps drinks very cold, as well as cut up lemons and limes. I was so impressed with how well it performed on some of the hottest days this summer. July 4th was great with this cooler. That being said, I don’t feel I can manage this cooler. It’s too heavy for me, I put it on a small metal rolling carry cart. The cart could not handle the cooler the arms would pop off and the cart tipped over. This cooler is just a smidge too big to fit under the boat seats- by just a few centimeters it’s too big- it got in the way being on deck. However, it does work Great as a seat or ottoman on the boat or on the dock. I would keep using it but my back can’t take carrying this. I have some really debilitating back issues. Yeti makes coolers with wheels(that will be too big for the boat) I’m going to order the Roadie 15 by yeti I suspect that will be the perfect fit. The valve to release water is a nice feature and it made things easier. Over the course of 4 days I used two bags of ice. I prepped the cooler ahead of time with cooler packs- some of the reviews suggested this and it’s a great tip. The white is classic and it looks sharp. That being said it got dirty quickly and I might get the Roadie 15 in a bright color- otherwise you’re wiping it down frequently.
