This water bottle is good at keeping your drinks cold. The only downside is that you have to make sure the lid is tightly closed or it will not keep ice for more than a couple hours. Opening it is then hard because it is tightly closed. If you like large water bottles this is a good one but it is expensive, and a little heavy

Only a month ago I was cursing the cheap purple container in which I decanted my freshly brewed french press. It's poorly insulated walls taunted me as the heat of my liquid relief effortlessly escaped its grasp. I had only minutes until my hard earned nectar was too cold to enjoy, forcing me to resort to my last desperate option, the microwave. Every morning I would live like this; on the clock, pressure on, drink up and move on, no time to enjoy my efforts. In a Roman bar this would be perfectly acceptable, culturally appropriate and downright expected. Speed is key there but not here. Not here in my own home where taking my time is a luxury I have worked hard for. I craved that luxury each morning but was robbed every time, until now... I remember the morning I first used my Yeti Rambler like it was yesterday. The sun lit up my kitchen like a European Cathedral, and even the birds outside seemed exuberant. It was a frigid Tuesday morning and I slowly poured my freshly brewed golden nectar into the huge mouth of the half gallon jug. Not a drop was sacrificed. Coffee danced around the interior of that container and I shared in it's excitement. I danced, my dog danced, we all danced. Our moment had finally come. I poured myself a cup from the Yeti's spout then sealed her shut. Hours and hours later I'd forgotten I'd even left coffee in there. A fool I am, but a fool the Yeti is not. To my amazement, the liquid inside was still steaming hot. Could this be real? Are my eyes deceiving me? For a moment I stood with my hands on the counter and stared out of the window. My whole life until now was thrown into question. Tears rolled down my face as my dog began to howl in disbelief. We were both in awe of this witchcraft. Anyway, buy this thing if you like hot liquid. It's great.

Keeps everything cold for a long time. Unfortunately to get a leak proof seal you have to crank the lid down and you have to be even stronger to get it off. I went through a lot of testing to find a spot where it was just sealed enough, then I mark the lid and body so I knew about how far to tighten the lid.
