I have recently taken up gardening as a hobby, and most of the fertilizers and pesticides are concentrated. They tell you to add 2 Tablespoons per Gallon of water and while I have lots of measuring cups, none are as large as a gallon. I saw this one and it is perfect for measuring out a gallon of water. I will then put the measured gallon of water into a fertilizer OR pesticide container and add the amount of concentrate required. I also use this pitcher to harvest tomatoes and other crops. I already have one of this kind in the pint size and it's great for recipes, but this gallon-sized pitcher is just perfect for my uses.

I bought this to measure and mix gasoline for several tools. I’ve measured the accuracy again other glass measuring devices and it is very accurate. I like the elongated opening. I can pour easily without fear of over pouring. The raised markings will be a great benefit as this will get heavy use and the color will wear. This turned out to be the perfect tool for the job.

I used this for my 2012 Altima when draining and filling the transmission fluid. There's no good way to measure how much you drained without one or two of these pitchers. That way you know about how much more you need to add. I still recommend a dipstick so you can fill to the exact proper amount because being too high or low is bad for your transmission.

This pitcher is perfect! I use it to pour wax into candles and it has such a perfectly shaped V pourer that I haven't spilled one drop of wax since I got it. I just pour the heated wax from my double boiler in and I get perfect pours every time into the candle jars. Just don't put it in boiling water, I haven't tried because it's plastic, so it would melt over a hot burner. I needed to make that clear so no one sticks it in a double boiler. I highly recommend this pitcher!
