I bought a few of these in different colors and sizes and they are exactly what I wanted. I love using the crockpot for soup, chicken and dumplings, etc., but have cheap daily usage dishes and have literally worn my BBQ mitt to eat out of those things because their heat is nuclear. The 1 quart bowls are awesome for single servings of hot dishes and I don't have to worry about my hand getting scortched. The 2 quart is awesome for guac or pico or something like that.     • Beautiful color just not practical for what I needed it for.

The color was beautiful and I am sure it would be awesome to use but my intention was to use it for soups for my elementary school child and it didn't work out because of the small hole on lid that I assume is there for steam release. It just didn’t work out for us but they are lovely.

I love these bowls for outdoor affairs. They keep the hot stuff warm and the cold stuff cold. Yes, there is a small hole in the lid to allow air to escape when closing and opening the lid.

These bowls are made well, the lids have tabs that make removing them much easier (especially when moisture/condensation makes the seal especially tight).
