My favorite feature of this tumbler is its lid. The MagSlider is genius. It slides smoothly, and you just lift it off the magnet to easily clean it. No slider tracks to slowly build up grime and make you wonder if it's still safe to use. The YETI tumbler is seamless which should improve insulation and longevity over similar products. Fluid flows freely when drinking with the lid on, and the tumbler rim is smooth and comfortable for drinking with the lid off. For all these features, this YETI tumbler beats its competition. I know YETI has a superior reputation for insulation with claims that drinks stay hot or cold for hours. This tumbler has kept my coffee warm for hours, but the piping hotness of my coffee diminishes at the same rate as less expensive insulated tumblers. So if insulation is only marginally better than a six-dollar bargain tumbler, would I recommend YETI? Yes! The build quality is noticeably better. It cleans well and very easily. I fully expect this YETI tumbler will outlast any bargain tumbler. So I believe YETI offers a better value over time. ... show more

I got the smaller one with the handle as a gift in the same color. We loved it so much, we needed the same one in a different size of course!! Keeps hot drinks hot, and cold drinks cold. Fits perfectly in cup holder, and is sturdy and easy to clean. Obsessed with this color!!

I thought this cup was supposed to be leak proof so when, a week into using it, I had to stop my car suddenly and my bag holding the tumbler went tumbling off my passenger seat, I didn't worry. I should have worried. My VERY hot (good job, tumbler) tea had spilled all over everything. A later conversation with Yeti revealed that this tumbler is jostle-proof, not spill-proof. Now I know. And now I have an additional tumbler for when I need "spill-proof". And I keep this tumbler in my cup holder, not my bag. I got the yellow color and it is SO pretty. I really like the shape; it's clean, simple, and elegant. The texture of the finish is enjoyable to hold. The only part that is difficult to clean is the rubber washer around the lid. It is very difficult to remove in order to clean (but not removing it leaves smoothie residue beneath and I'm not looking for gross stuff growing in my cup). The rest of the cup is easy to clean. I really like that the closing piece is magnetic. Super cleanable. And if you prep the mug before pouring in your drink (i.e. pour ice water or boiling water into it first, let it sit for a couple of minutes, then dump it out and pour in your actual drink) it will keep temperature for a LONG time. In fact, I managed to get the worst mouth burn of my life from this cup... I promise that's supposed to be an endorsement. 😆 P.s. the customer service at Yeti is 10/10. If I hadn't needed this to arrive in like two days, I'd have bought it from Yeti just to support them directly. ... show more

Great product. It insulates really well. I had a full cup of ice water and majority of the ice didn't melt until the next day. The hot coffee was still warm at the end of an 8 hr shift. It's not completely leak proof but I dont have to worry about a mess if I accidentally knock it over. The lid stays on tight. It washes well in the dishwasher, no rusting or peeling of the color. Only gripe I have is that it holds 18oz with lid on. You can get to 20oz only with the lid off. Other than that, this does the job really well. ... show more
