(Pardon the pun) The screw cap is very easy to use, holds the can very solidly, and even makes it easier to open a can since it's not sweating. I was a little worried it'd be kinda awkward to sip from, but the ring cap is designed to sit decently flush with the can so it's easy and feels nice to sip. I also like this product because I'm not tempted to chug my energy drinks before they get warm. I guess one could consider that a health benefit, too; it helps regulate one's caffeine intake. I mainly bought this for my morning caffeine. It fits all 16 fl oz cans very well! It really works to extend how cold my drinks stay over the course of a couple hours as to where if it was just a can without it it would become warm within 30-45min. I really enjoy it, it's a great feel in the hand and the top is really easy to get on and off. For me, it's a 9/10. Sometimes the top part that secures the can doesn't always go on the first time. Have been wanting something for a while to use with the 16.9 oz bottles of soda and water that I buy at the grocery store. This fits like a glove. The only thing you need to make sure to do before screwing the ring down is to open the bottle to let whatever air is in it, OUT. It allows the bottle to flex just a bit to give the ring the ability to make a tight seal with the base of the holder. If you don't, it won't screw back on. ...and yes it keeps the contents nice and cold just as you'd expect from a Yeti product. Love it! ... show more

    • The Best $30 I’ve Ever Spent on Keeping Drinks Cold

I grabbed two of these on Prime Day for about $15 each, hands down the best $30 I’ve ever spent. We use them every day. I’m not saying I’m a booze hound, but I do enjoy a beer now and then. Pro tip: Stick a cloth in the bottom, and you can use it for short cans, too. We’ve left these in the car on scorching days and come back to cans that are still cold. In the summer, we can sit outside for hours chatting (I’m the talker) without worrying that a drink left on the table will get warm, because with the Colster, it won’t. Pretty sure I’ve never had a warm drink while using this. Pair it with a Draft Top can opener and you’ve basically got yourself a 16 oz tumbler (yes, I’ve filled an empty beer can with wine when the beer ran out, still not a booze hound, I swear). It’s a shame they don’t seem to make these anymore; you can’t even find them on the YETI site. If you spot one for sale, grab it. ... show more

My husband loves this colster for his 16 oz Coors cans and bottles! He has been using a Brumate which he loves but I didn’t like how that one’s gasket got all sticky since it’s rubber. This one is so much better since it’s made out of the same material as the rest of the colster! I do think this one is noticeably heavier though but my husband doesn’t mind (quality materials so much better). ... show more

Keeps my open tall can cold. You can open a beer and it’s cold to the last sip. Once you own this you’ll never drink a warm beer. I’ve opened a beer then had to step out for about 40 minutes and when I got back my beer was still cold! It wasn’t fresh out the fridge cold but is was like I was only gone for 5 minutes cold. I now throw it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes before I use it. I’ve said goodbye to warm drinks. I also purchased the 12oz as well ... show more
