I had never owned a lunch box before so I wasn’t sure if it would be a good fit for us. I mainly bought it because I loved the idea of having an insulated container together with the actual lunch box. such a clever idea! We’ve been using this lunch box for over two years now. Compared to other lunch boxes, this one is heavier. At first I didn’t like it because I was used to plastic containers. I bought it because I wanted to provide my child with a high-quality and safe place to store food. The quality has never disappointed me. It doesn’t crack, it’s easy to clean, there are no stains, and NO LEAKS! We use the insulated container every day with some fruits and vegetables, sometimes hummus, yogurt etc Their customer service is a dream! I had issues with my order (because I ordered it incorrectly), and they immediately sent me an email to help me out. Then, a year later, I had more questions about a product, and the issue was resolved in one day.

I love the OmieBox, we have tried many bento boxes but this is our absolute favorite! My 3 kids are able to easily open their Omie and eat their warm lunches at school. You have the option to use the thermal for warm food or remove it for a cold lunch (sandwiches for example) option. What I love most about this box is the food stays in place! It doesn’t get mixed around and messy so I never worry that my kids wont have a good meal for school. It’s easy to clean, food stays warm and in place, and my kids can easily open their lunch box. I absolutely love the OmieBox! As a parent, I’ve gone through so many lunch boxes trying to find one that keeps food fresh, easy to pack, and mess-free — and this one finally checks all the boxes. Overall we love OmieBox and have bought several colors and accessories! Pros: It's a SUPER durable design, out Blue sky and Meadow boxes have been used half of last school year, all summer at outdoor soccer camp in the city, & half of this school year so far and doesn't have a scratch on it yet, easy to clean, holds a good amount of food, haven't had any issues with leaks, keeps food warm for hours in thermos, love being able to customize the leak proof spacious side compartments, & can be used with thermos or without. Cons:Price is a little high for targeted audience(even celebrities have said it's a splurge if you have multiple kids), two of our thermos got stuck closed(was able to get one open after a week in the freezer), couldn't fit in last years Cat & Jack lunch bag without leaving the zipper open a little and the handle sticking out( middle schooler was able to manage no problem)so had to buy a Champion Estate lunch bag this year, doesn't come with the name tag the OmieUp comes with even though they're the same price and younger kids would probably need it more than the older kids the OmieUp is targeted to(NOT TO SAY the OmieUp shouldn't come with it or that you should raise the price), doesn't come with the icepack the OmieUp comes with even though it's the same price. Although I haven't had to need one because I usually freeze items like yogurt or applesauce, the company adding one to the OmieUp or saying we can add icepacks to the outside of this one makes it seem like you do need it. But again OVERALL a great lunch box and I would even buy more if they send me a replacement for the stuck thermos because that would show me their customer service is great as well.

The OmieBox in Blue Sky has completely transformed our school lunch routine. Before this, packing hot pasta and cold fruit meant juggling multiple containers, but the OmieBox solves this brilliantly with its two temperature zones. The vacuum-insulated food jar is the standout feature. I preheat it with hot water for a few minutes before adding lunch, and my child reports that their food is still warm hours later. Meanwhile, the side compartments stay perfectly cool for fruit and cheese. The chunky latch is also very easy for little hands to open independently. Pros: True hot and cold storage in a single container. The thermos insert is genuinely leak-proof. Intuitive, kid-friendly design. Cons: It is noticeably heavier than standard plastic lunchboxes, even when empty. Hand washing is recommended to preserve the seals, which adds a few minutes to the evening cleanup routine. Despite the extra weight and hand washing, the convenience and durability make it worth every penny. If you want to pack varied, temperature-sensitive lunches without the hassle of multiple bags and containers, I highly recommend the OmieBox.
