While on vacation visiting my son, used his yeti 14 oz rambler for my morning coffee. Kept my coffee hot for long period of time. I had not owned a yeti before this. Couldn’t justify the price. On this, it was worth it. Also loved the magna slide. So much easier to clean than other slides. Also, since this is short and stout, is more stable when I am my desk, outside or in my shop. Unlike the taller 20 oz cups that fit in my cup holder in my truck that tip over easy. Tried a similar version by Stanley and it didn’t keep it as hot as long. Keep my beverages hot for hours. I accidently dropped mine on the pavement and it's still fine with hardly no damage. Love my Yeti and the sticker was a nice touch. The photo I posted is AFTER I dropped it! Quality product!

So far, so good! I got this for soup and it is keeping it much warmer than a bowl does. I like the look and feel of the mug. The metal handle is good, and I have a feeling that much of the competition would have plastic handles.

The black sliding piece is magnetic so it's easy to clean under the slide. The mug is a good weight and size and the handle is comfortable for holding the mug. Absolutely lives up to the hype. Keeps coffee hot on a long morning drive or keeps your iced drink cold during a summer day! Outstanding durability (I have dropped mine multiple times and barely shows a scratch). Another plus is that it fits in most cupholders! The lid is also so convenient, as it is a magnetic closure.     • It does what a mug should do, and more.

It's a mug, and it does what a mug does, and more. It's very comfortable to drink from, and if you use the lid, it keeps your drink cold or hot longer and you won't dump the entire contents if you tip it (it will leak a bit though). If you can afford more than one, you can stack this model on another one. I like the mug better than the more car-ready tumblers for drinking at home, since without the lid, it's width allows you to stick your nose in it and enjoy the aroma of whatever you're drinking. The only real useful comment is that I have another model (older?) that doesn't stack and is all metal, with no color coating. I think, without any scientific experiments, that the all metal one is slightly less efficient at keeping drinks at temperature longer. This colored version has a thin layer of color and that might be the difference. I choose the light blue color only because of lower price and faster delivery than the cooler looking all-metal or other colors. Like all Yeti products, it's well made, but this mug would not make as good a hammer as their heavier tumblers would. The only other drawback, is that, unlike ceramic or cheaper aluminum/steel camping mugs, you can't use them as a hand-warmer. Heat does not transfer to the outer layer. ... show more

This is my favorite coffee cup. Color is perfect to find it when I misplace my coffee 😂. It is too large for my cup holders in car but I bought a conversion piece to accept the larger size. I appreciate the magnetic slide closure and it cleans easily.
