Great helmet

The helmet itself works great. The screen seems to flicker every once in awhile. Don’t know why. Usually it stops after waiting a minute or two. It’s comfortable. Everything works great. My only real issue is the amount of cleaning the inside lenses I have to do. The front cover screen as well. Every few hours I have to wipe them all down to see clearly. Didn’t have this issue with other helmets before this one. Front cover screen has to be taken off to clean quite a bit. For some reason the inside gets really dirty and dingy. Also a problem I never had before. Overall tho it’s a great helmet for the price. Does just as good as the Lincoln and miller helmets. Would definitely buy again

Welding helmet

This is my first welding helmet or the first one I bought and I’m super stoked on all the functions that it has has well molded grain mold and cut mode which really helps. I don’t have to buy a separate helmet for grinding. It has four sensors which is great usually you only find on higher end hoods. It came with replacement battery and two replacement screens in case they get scratched up plus with the option of a cheater screen as well not to mention the paint job is awesome

Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2025 by It was opened as my daughter's Christmas gift today after being under our tree for a month and one of the arms or the second hand basically in this clock that has glass in front of it is flopping around it's broken even when I put the battery in so I received the product broken and now it's saying that my replacement window is closed so how do I get a clock that works for my daughter that loves Sonic the hedgehog and loves this clock ??? How do I get a working clock from the seller regardless of whatever the replacement window is I had no idea that the second hand on this clock was broken because I remained in the package that it came in when it was delivered all I did was put Christmas paper on the box and when she opened it today it was broken

I’m very pleased with my purchase. This is my first helmet so only time will tell if I will be back for more. The fit is very comfortable and easy to adjust. Other all the designs and styles is very pleasing.

Malfunctioning After 1 Year

Decent helmet for a hobbyist welder, until... One year old, and I just had to order a new lens unit for $30. It is always dark, even on a cloudy day. Only lightens when the sensor is completely covered. My 25 year old helmet is beat to crap, but still auto-darkens nicely. WTF.

improves your weld

I like the ability to see much better when welding. This was my first auto darkening helmet and I really like the picture. I did not like having to put the straps on and get it to fit properly on my head and in front of my eyes especially wearing glasses. I did have a problem with it and it had these blotches that showed up on the bottom of the screen. I contacted customer support they said that they were going to send me a new one and to keep my old one as a spare but they did not send me a new one. We are having discussions about the replacement and warranty as of this review. Still waiting for them to make it right with me. It comes with an extra battery and it's a good thing because one of the batteries was dead. After the initial adjustment and getting everything right it was pretty comfortable and lightweight.

Highly disappointed

Two I bought this helmet for my Fiancée who has been welding for most of his life. He spent time looking for a new helmet and decided to give Yes Welder a shot. He absolutely loves the design and loved the concept of the 180 view. But upon arrival he already had issues with the helmet. The head gear was completely bent out of shape. The headgear it’s self will not stay adjusted properly for very long. (15-20minutes) The helmet is not as lightweight as it seems to be. This being mainly caused by the poorly designed headgear not letting it stay balanced correctly. The auto darkening settings were an absolute nightmare. As even the slightest bump of the exterior adjustment knob would completely change the setting. The “true color” is definitely not as good as it is advertised. He ran into issues the same night he started using it. After only 4 weeks of use the auto darkening lense completely gave out. All in all we are very dissatisfied with this product. Design 8/10 Light weight 5/10 Comfort 4/10 Overall 3/10
