I have purchased two of these. My first purchase was a 12-ft lead for my miller 175. I was suspect based on the price but this gun has served me very well. My second purchase was this review the 10 ft lead with a flexible head. I bought this to run 023 wire and weld in a couple of difficult spaces and odd angles. The only problem that I have had has been the quality of the O-rings used around the gas port. That was a very minimal problem and only showed itself after a year of use on my first gun. The ptoblem was easily solved with the $5 purchase of a set of Miller brand o rings. I would offer this is a good product that has taken some abuse in my shop and performed very well. The liner seems to be a good quality and I've had no problems with the gun or the connections. Other than inconsequential o-ring issue I would rate this mig gun five stars. ... show more

Gun came with defect. The power pin end did not have the gas ports drilled , so it was only good for flux core welding. They still get a 5 stars rating from me because they responded super fast and will ship a new gun to me immediately. This gun exhibits high quality and other than the port problem, it was a first rate mig gun. This was more an assembly line production problem than a quality issue. Those things happen. Installation was easy but the liner in this mig gun was defective out of the box. It continuously sheared off the wire. I eventually got it to weld a little bit but the diffuser wasn't providing adequate gas coverage. Wire burnt back to the tip. I was done at that point and returned it for a refund.

The cable fit our Mig welder perfectly , just as promised in the product details. We hooked it up and put it to a test on some almost impossible position welds. The flex made these welds happen perfectly. It actually performed better than the original cable and gun that came with the Mig welder. We were at a dead end on how to make these welds. I have to admit that So far I have been beyond surprised with this flexible mig gun. I am an automotive shop owner and professional welder(custom exhaust) who generally destroys a welding gun 2-4 times a year from everyday use and abuse. Buying the flex guns from my gas/welding supplier generally runs me about $175 each time I need a new one. Since everything else I order generally comes from amazon I decided to give them a shot. This works awesome and honestly I feel like the quality(so far) far surpasses the “professional welding guns” that I pay almost 3 times as much for.
