This beanie is awesome, the light is very bright. It’s actually brighter than I expected. It offers three modes and each mode is bright. Just click the middle button in the light to alternate and you get a Bright, Medium & low light mode, What I like is that it doesn’t light up just one small direct area. This light actually lights up a pretty big area and it lights it well! The best part is that this light is rechargeable! The beanie is excellent for cold weather, retains heat nicely and has a nice tight knit that allows it to stay in place without sliding off and moving around. It’s great for all day wear during the day and perfect for evening time too! It’s functional and has a long lasting battery. You really can’t beat the price for how cool this beanie is and how well this light or only works, but lights up! I’m going to buy more of these for my nephews and son ... show more

Material and Comfort: The hat's material is relatively lightweight, making it ideal for mild conditions. However, its thin construction suggests limited utility in sub-freezing temperatures or windy environments where significant insulation is required. LED Assembly and Charging: The integrated LED assembly is well-designed. While the removal of the LED puck for charging is straightforward, proper reinstallation can be challenging initially. Once secured correctly, the unit remains firmly in place. The charging port on the LED unit is a male USB-A connection. The user charges the device while it is still installed in the hat using a specific male USB-A to female USB-A extension cable. Performance and Battery Life: The light features three brightness settings. Even the lowest setting provides sufficient illumination for walking paths, while the highest setting offers enough light for detailed tasks in low-light conditions. The battery provides over four hours of use after a two-hour charge cycle. Okay, so when I bought this I was just thinking that the light would mean hands free while working after dark. But, I found out it was way better quality than I expected. So it somehow got thrown in the hamper. I didn't see it and it got washed and dried in the dryer on high heat, all with the light still in the beanie. When I found it in the dryer, I just knew it was history. Well, I was wrong. It still works just as good and still charges. I was so surprised.
