01/29/22 Update: Battery arrived. Several YouTube videos on Chinese Tablet battery replacement helped. Required is a plastic case separating tool, soldering supplies and equipment. The repair went well. 12/29/21 update: Found a 3987118 3.8V 6000mAh Rechargeable Li-ion Battery For 8" 9" 10" Tablet (2 wire) with similar specs. Currently $13.85 + $7.21 shipping from AliExpress. Will update later on outcome. 10/20/20 original review: Lot of bang for your buck. Based on the price, was willing to overlook missing features. Not USA mobile service provider compatible so can't use it as a mobile phone. Received a NON-2-in-1 capacitance pen so contacted Yestel support via email and they responded quickly but nothing came of it. Does not seem to have any GPS sensors so GPS apps do not work. Everything else on the tablet was as described. Stereo speakers could use more Bass but they are definitely loud. Works great with bluetooth headphones. Touch screen was not as responsive as my cellphone so I removed the already installed plastic screen protector and it made a big difference. Did see another plastic screen protector in the box so you get you two but best not to use them if you want a more responsive touch screen. Fine with just protecting the screen with the included case. Main reason for getting this was for 8bp game play. The big 10.1" screen helps make games more enjoyable. 4K YouTube vids play in 720p and look great. Only wish the tablet was half the weight. I researched before purchasing this, aced had bought a yestel tablet for my son last year that held up and we were pleased with, so when it came time to upgrade my other son's tablet, I decided to give this a shot. The 10 inch screen had gorgeous superior quality resolution. I was skeptical when reading the description but it really looks brighter and clearer than my other tablet. It comes with plenty of accessories and would work will for work, school or play. My son was issued a Chromebook from school so he uses this for playing games, watching YouTube and Facebook messenger. You can download and add Google parent controls from the Google play store and limit time and apps access on it. I tested the speakers which sound clear but not very loud at full volume. They are fine for watching a movie if it's just you, but I'd recommend Bluetooth speakers or headphones. It does have a 1/8 inch mini Jack for wired headphones. Besides the tablet and the case, it also comes with the charger cable which is usbc, the wall plug, earbuds, stylus, screen protector, Bluetooth keyboard(with USB micro charger) and a USB to USB c adapter. It comes in a nice gift box as well which would be perfect for holidays and birthday gifting. I set it up and it was a breeze. It only connects to 2.4 gz wifi but I was able to easily start streaming YouTube. Netflix worked great as well. I downloaded apps from Google play easily. The keyboard connected right away when I searched for it in the Bluetooth settings. The keys are responsive save easy to type on. I'm very pleased with this purchase. I have had a couple of Samsung tablets in the past; I've liked the S2 the best due to its display format - which Samsung has discontinued. Recent Samsung products have been many hundreds of dollars - the cheaper ones have lower resolution screens. So I went looking for something with sufficient memory (no less than 4gb of ram and 64gb of storage, a 1920x1200 minimum screen resolution, a headphone jack, an SD card slot and a decent microprocessor. There are lots of Chinese products, but with these exact specifications, the list lessens. Moreover, some come with accessories like case/cover, keyboards, mouse and protective screens, making them an even better value. After a lot of consideration, I ended up with the Yestel product. It proved easy to set up, has a great screen, has the aforementioned accessories and is very light and thin. Upon opening, I saw what seemed to be some scratches on the top left of the screen; I installed the case immediately - and then couldn't find the SD card slot. I emailed their customer service - within 24 hours, I received a polite and useful email explaining that the protective film was on the screen - so just replace it with the included alternative. I was sent a little video showing where the SD card slot was - I felt silly not finding it on my own. Between the quality of the product, and the efficacy of the support - I was even more confident that I had made the right purchase. Highly recommended... ... show more

    • Battery life not that great
I've been testing out the battery life today and had a full 100% charge at 2:00 p.m. and it's now 4:22 p.m. and the battery life is at 33%. I've been watching YouTube videos and downloading a few games from Google Play. Played one of the games for about 15 minutes. From what I read watching videos and games you get approximately around 6 hours and then other such applications and maybe around 12 hours. There is no way you can get 12 hours out of this tablet. The tablet itself is good and what you receive with it but the battery life again not that good so I'm about to go plug it in again and use my mobile phone which will last basically all day. ... show more

I was looking to replace my Amazon Fire 10 in. HD tablet. I didn't want to replace it with the same Amazon tablet due to their controlling what Apps they allow on it so I found this one. I have been using it for almost two weeks and I have no complaints. It is fast, it seems to be made very well, battery life is ok, quality of picture is good, Design is nice...I like where the power button is (lower right side.) It was shipped lightning fast! I have no complaints at all with it. The communication with the folks at YESTEL has been great (Rachael) I am a satisfied customer and would honestly recommend this tablet.
