Needed another bonnet, saw these and thought I would order one. Keeps hair protected and helps with drying hair after a wash or helps with conditioning treatment, plastic bag then put this over it for an hour or so. Appearance is beautiful, but I would only wear it around the house and not in public as "A fashion statement". The material is soft and slips nice without pulling on the hair. It's not to heavy and it's warm enough, to wear around the house. It fits well and t You have the tie to use as well. Material is nice, elasticity it great too. Material is a soft velvet. Silk like. I am as white as milk but I have very long hair that is prone to frizz. I used to braid my hair at night but that made the frizz worse and was causing a permanent wave. So years ago I decided to try a bonnet. I fell in love with it, used it for years, but it became very loose and falling off overnight, defeating the purpose. So I bought this as a replacement. First, the silk is very nice and it's not really just 'silk lined' making it heavier, it's all one piece. It has a very comfortable flat band on the edge. The ribbon is a cute touch. Second, I had some issues. First problem - I am not cultural or fancy enough to fully understand how to tie the elegant bow like the model is showing. I am a very boring, very white girl. At first try, it flopped into my face. I tried adjusting it slightly, here and there, and eventually gave up and just tied it in the back to lay on my neck. I thought this would be an issue sleeping but it wasn't uncomfortable. What I did have an issue with at first is that while the cap is very roomy for even the largest hair styles, or probably even curlers/rollers in shorter hair, the band was veryyy tight. Uncomfortably tight. I wasn't sure I would last the night and hesitated using it the following night. This may be because I was used to such a loose cap that it doubled as a sleep visor, but still important to note. I've come to a compromise with it. I don't use it every night, but I will use it on wash days when I use leave in conditioner. The band loosened probably quicker than it should, but it's more tolerable now while still secure. It is also very silky while still breathable so my hair is always very nice the following morning. Then I usually swap out to a different one until the next wash day. The other thing I want to mention is with my old bonnet and the more recent updated model of it I eventually bought as a replacement, I felt it was fashionable enough to be seen in public for a quick errand or a trip through the drive thru. I cannot do that with this bonnet. It may be because I can't master the elegant bow on top, but I also don't have enough hair to fill it out completely, so it's kind of floppy on my head. I'll wear it to bed, but I'm not wearing it in public. This may not be an issue if your hair type or style fills it out better than mine.

I really like this bonnet! Not only is it cute but does the job. I thought it was going to be some cheap material but it isn’t. My hair gets super frizzy and I hate the feeling of sleeping with something on my hair but this isn’t uncomfortable at all. It leaves my hair frizz-free. It isn’t tight at all and you can adjust it to your liking and it doesn’t fall off. I would recommend it for people who have frizzy hair like me :)

I bought two different bonnets but this one is definitely worth the few extra dollars! It is double lined so that the smooth satin is on the inside where it comes into contact with your hair and the band is soft and stretchy. It stayed on all night and keeps my hair soft and shiny! I originally bought this bonnet because I have a heatless curling rod that tends to fall out because I toss and turn at night and I needed a bonnet to keep it in place. The bonnet does a wonderful job of keeping the curling rod in place and making it super easy to sleep in. One night I used a hair mask after a day in the pool and I decided to try putting my hair in the bonnet to see what it would be like, and the next morning I noticed a drastic difference in my hair. Not only was my hair super soft to the touch, but it was also frizz free, super shiny and the easiest it's ever been to detangle. I usually spend a good 15-20 minutes to brush my hair and detangle it, and with this it took me less than 5 minutes. I will never sleep without this bonnet on my head again. My only complaint is that the tie sometimes tugs at the back of my head making it slightly uncomfortable on the back of my head, but I would much rather deal with a minute amount of discomfort than spend nearly 30 minutes on my hair each day. 10/10 would definitely recommend to anybody. Get this bonnet; you will NOT be disappointed

I'm white, I have long straight hair, and I love this so much. I used to always sleep with my hair in a messy bun because I hate feeling my hair on my neck while I sleep, but messy buns are horrible for your hair because they pull it out and cause breakage. This is a hair savior. My hair is never tangled in the morning, it protects it from breakage, and its neatly put away so I can sleep. When I put my hair in french braids, I used to wake up with frizzy hair, not anymore! Can't recommend this product enough. It has never moved or fallen off my head when I sleep. I wear it around my house at night just because it's so comfortable. Best thing I've purchased in a very long time, maybe ever.
