I got the 12-inch version. For being 5'2" this has been a game-changer for hip thrusts. It is strong and stable box but soft enough to still be able to lean on it and complete my workout. I have been using it religiously for about a month and the firmness has not changed.

So I didn’t need this for working out, my 90 lb dog won’t use a ramp and needed some help getting in my Jeep Wrangler so I needed a stepping stool big enough and the 12’ works perfectly! Highly recommend to others with older large dogs!

I bought two of these (6" and 12") for doing box jumps at my house b/c I wanted something larger than the small wooden box at the gym. Have used this one for single-leg jumps and it's got just the right amount of cushioning and is heavy enough not to slide at all on the hard floor.

As noted in other reviews, this jump box is well made and seemingly durable. The 6" version is great for plyometrics. It is large enough not to move or shift when exercising, but not so bulky that it can't be moved and stored easily. (The 12" version is just as well made, but its size makes it harder to move and store.) It is better than a traditional plywood box because it provides cushion and isn't loud to use. ... show more
