Ended up working at a renaissance fair as a cast member where the costume director recommended this style of boot for garb. The boots were comfortable enough to be worn for 2-3 day weekends for 12 hours on end constantly on my feet, and I've been using them for almost a year now. They have some wear and tear around the sole, but nothing that isn't easily fixed, and the shoes are both comfortable enough to use at the renaissance fair and formal enough that I've worn them to a wedding without issue. ... show more

While it's a cute boot, it's a bit narrow for my foot. I got it with the try at home for seven days and wanted to send it back. I didn't notice you get fewer days with that trial. When I wanted to return it, the time had passed. I tried them and was able to put them on, but the loop that you could use to put them on broke immediately on the left boot. I wore these boots to work one day and they just cut into the back of my ankles the entire day, enough to leave that annoying scar. The material of the boot is thin but it’s not soft and bendable. I don’t think I’d buy these boots again
