We got this set today. They are a really nice looking set of plates and bowls. My one concern is how thin the walls and bases are. I feel this would allow the heat of a hot meal to seep straight through. As these are touted as dinnerware for camping (what we intend to use them for) you may not have anywhere but your lap or hands to place them, thus making the heat a possible issue. We love that the bowls are so deep. I am sure some meals will skip plates and be served in the bowls. Such meals would consist mostly of finger foods or foods that do not have to be cut. I have no doubt about their unbreakable claim, however I am not going to test it. I am sure they will get enough real world testing soon enough. We are not unpleased with the set as they do look nice and are lightweight. Now that I think of it, a thicker construction would increase the weight and make them a bit more resistant to being blown away by a mild breeze. I will be interested to see how they hold up to regular use and if they mar easily. I will try to update the review when I get a good answer either way.

I like these bowls for the RV. So far they are working fine. I have not tries to break them but they do seem durable. They are very thin but I suppose this is one of the reasons they are light weight. They are made with wheat straw but I have to wonder what percentage of the dishes the straw accounts for. To be honest they look and feel like plastic dishes. I would like to know how much of them is actually comprised of wheat straw. Regardless, I like them and will keep using them. The bowls are very large and the plates are a bit on the small side. However, they work well for the RV and I will probably use them for some tent camping.

I was looking for a nice day to day luncheon set . These are wonderful. I love the bright cheerful colors . The plates are small luncheon plates. Not huge. For me they are exactly what I was looking for . A sandwich and small side would fit perfectly on them . They have a fairly deep lip so no run off from products like cottage cheese or applesauce . The bowls are huge! Probably good for large salads . I’ll probably use them as serving bowls . I love that these dishes are all lightweight . Microwave safe and dishwasher safe . I will put them on the top rack of the dishwasher as a precaution to keep them in good condition . The description says they are unbreakable and they do feel like they could withstand a drop on the floor should that happen. Also BPA free. Very nice product ! I would very much recommend.

I've tried for so long to find big bowls like this that are deep and wide. It's surprisingly hard to find and I love these! Colors don't interest me at all but that's nothing against the set at all I just don't care about the colors. The plates are nice but very tiny. Useful for small meals I mainly got this for the bowls and they exceeded my expectations. I dropped one for giggles and it did not infact break so I'm happy! Need bigger versions of the plates though!

The bowls and the plates are both deep, making them great for saucy dishes and soups. The plates are smaller, so they work better for side dishes or smaller portions.

This is the second set of wheat straw dinnerware I have used and I think I’m a total convert now. I love the plates and their raised edges. It makes them perfect for pasta and even better for the kids Mac and cheese. I was very surprised at how big the bowls actually are. I was assuming they’d be a little smaller, like cereal bowls. These are exactly the size I’ve needed for dinner salads. They’re very strong and don’t seem to transmit too much heat. I don’t plan on microwaving them at all though. I definitely want these to last. They’ve come out clean from the dishwasher every time as well.
