As I get older, objects get heavier. These sturdy little bowls are so useful and roomy enough for cereal, ice cream, soups, etc. Come through the dishwasher just fine, too. They’ve been dropped countless times and have survived intact. Love them.

I specifically bought these because they were dishwasher and microwave safe. My grandkids often visit and I microwave individual servings of mac and cheese. I used them at one point for chili, and was quite surprised that I couldn't get the bowls clean. There was a remaining reddish stain. I can't blame the dishwasher (because I *am* the dishwasher!) and was careful to try everything I could think of. The stain finally came out after 4 or 5 washings over a few weeks in hot, soapy water. Other than this issue, I have nothing to complain about. They are not flimsy, but neither are they as robust or heavy as I expected. Maybe I should have taken the heading for the product ("Unbreakable CEREAL bowls") completely literally. Anyway, good for cereal, non-greasy hot foods, but I would avoid tomato sauce and the such. ... show more
