The colors are extremely vibrant — and the patterns themselves are very beautiful. They make very nice serving platters. But you could definitely use them also for a nice pasta dish. I'm not sure what a Bohemian design is, but these bowls look just like serving bowls I have purchased on my travels to Spain and Italy. They have pretty floral designs. They stack well on top of each other. They seem fairly sturdily made (although with porcelain, I never know when I'm going to chip or crack them against the edge of my countertop I take them out of the dishwasher). ... show more

Although these are advertised as pasta bowls, they are perfect for many other foods. They are very colorful and pretty, and will add extra color to your table. They are also oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. The ceramic is high-quality and fairly heavy. They also stack, so they don't take up too much room in the cupboard.
