Yeah I mean this is a very good product at this price even though the Battery was running out when I get the Caliper. This can be the most accurate caliper at this price. Sometimes when you finish measuring something, it will go off by 0.01mm but it's ok.

UNUSABLE as delivered. Display flashes, some segments will not light up, will not repeatedly display correctly. The OFF button would not power down the calipers. Unit jumps from inches to mm display without pressing any buttons. The fix was to replace the battery in this new unit, that was sealed in plastic as received. This caliper comes with a micro-USB port. Nice! However, as soon as I plugged the caliper in my computer, the screen went all dark, never to turn back on again. In other words, this caliper will self-destruct if you ever use the built-in USB port. Nice… On a side note, the paint isn't that great (it had chipped here and there), and the caliper itself is full of minuscule metal shards. And rust. Yes, it came a bit rusty. I like this, and wish I had had it for years. They do exactly as you would think it does... it has the ability to measure both outside and inside diameter, as well as thickness. You can quickly get results in either metric, decimal inches or fractional inches. Even if you will only lightly use it, it's a tool that simply can't be done in any other way... at least not accurately. ... show more

    • Caliper, no case. I gave it a 4 but would really would have liked to choose 3 1/2.
Did not come with a case. Seems decent for a composite caliper. Scale is 0.01" good enough for what I wanted. Has inch and millimeter scale but no fractional scale. Again, it works for what I needed.
