Yellow jacket cords are grate. I do residential remodels and build shed, decks pergolas. These cords get their use daily. The 100 ft tri tap is grate for running multiple tools at once within the cords rating. Also really convenient to not have to swap plugs to use a tool when the work station is set up. Although it's not recommended I occasionally run 2 100 ft cords together to reach my work and I've never had the cord get warm or plugs melt. Yellow jacket definitely makes my daily task easier not having to worry about having a good cord on the sight. The cheap ones insulation rips and tears this insulation is thick so dragging it around isn't a big deal. Highly recommend to pros and diyers. They also have thiner 14/3 cords and 10/3 cords that are also very good for lighter or more demanding task ... show more

First, the review is 5 stars because the product did exactly what it said it would do, no issues there. I used this cord to lead into the house from my generator during Sandy. As a single mom, I had a hard time setting up the generator, so a neighbor came over to help me. He also happens to be an electrician. He said, "You know you can use any cord that's rated for outdoor use?" Well, I spent close to $100 for this one... and I probably could have found one for a third of that price. It's a nice cord though, if that's any consolation. Just not sure if it's necessary for a portable generator. Perhaps for the larger generators, 7500+ ?? Just do your research first. I run the cable from the kitchen, into my shop (70 feet away, in the back yard). I was debating between the three outlet and one outlet variants. After living with it for a few months, the three prong was ABSOLUTELY warranted. Having run a fan, and a table saw in the summer, and now a heater and a table saw, and a power strip with lights, speakers, chargers, and anything else I need/want. When I'm done at night, I simply roll it up and store it inside. Takes 45 seconds. I'd be unable to do my work without this cable. HIghly worth the money. ... show more
