If you want the doors to align, save placing the back piece on for the last step.

This is what you would expect for the money, from a piece made in China. It looks good once assembled, but the factory machines used to make the holes are not calibrated, so be aware. The assembly is easy once you interpret the directions. They are barely adequate. My one tip to make sure the doors a
lign is to put on the back piece last. Stand up the cabinet and put the doors on, have someone hold the cabinet so the doors are even, and then screw in the back pieces. The first cabinet we assembled had crooked doors. We decided to stand up the second cabinet and do the back pieces as the last step. It worked. Straight doors with no headache! We went back to the first cabinet, took off the back pieces, drilled new holes in the panels and screwed them in while holding the doors straight. Edited to add... If all of that effort doesn't work just adjust one of the feet to "tweak" the angles and make the door sit straight. We did that fix the slight misalignment the doors still had and it worked really well!

GREAT LOOKING CABINET AND VALUE

Even with the $40 shipping this cabinet still came in at a lower price point overall than any other like it that I could find. I took a chance based on the decent reviews and was not disappointed. It was not difficult to put together, but there are quite a few pieces and steps. I made a mistake in co
unting the pieces as I was assembling it and thought I was missing a shelf support, but ended up mistaking the piece for one of the door hinges. (I would just suggest just going slowly and taking your time; I also put a piece in backwards and had to undo a couple of steps to correct it.) Overall, it was fairly easy to put together (took my about an hour) and ended up quite sturdy. We don't open/close it very often, or store very much inside, so it has held up well. I replaced the plastic black knobs that were included with some faux leather fobs that I also found on Amazon to fit my decor better. The material for the black cabinet is as expected, and you can see close up that the edges seem a little worn, but it's not noticeable as a whole when you look at the cabinet (with doors closed). The metal feet are sturdy and match my West Elm Penn Chairs opposite the room perfectly.

I ordered the two cabinets together with the tan rattan and no drawers. The box was compact and I was able to rock it side to side to bring it into the house. Unboxing was easy and everything was intact and packed securely. No horrible pressed wood smell! Directions could be better, but I’ve seen wor
se, took me 1.5 hours to put both of them together. This item is sturdy, looks expensive, doors lined up great, you can adjust the feet to level, great storage, both units line up perfectly! I’m happy. I gave four stars because you cannot adjust the shelf, the rattan has some bumps that show but you don’t notice it so much. I wish they were a little taller but this was a great buy-even with the extra shipping charge.

Great value and very convincing dupe!

I needed to replace our open shelving media console with something that could be child-proofed. I had considered buying the expensive version of this from one of the big names, but when I found this option for such a great price, I thought it was an even better idea. Now I won’t feel as upset if my t
oddler causes damage to it, all the while it looks just as good as the expensive ones! From a distance of course, but no one is going up to a media console and knocking on it to determine if it’s solid wood, haha, It took my husband and I probably an hour total to assemble it. The instructions were relatively easy to follow, and there were extra pieces of hardware (which we didn’t need). Everything fit together perfectly, and we didn’t even have one argument during assembly (that’s a testament to how easy it was). Overall I’m extremely pleased with this purchase, and although I don’t expect these pieces to last forever, they are going to serve me well for the next few years I’m sure.

Cute but not sure how long it will last
This piece is nice and matches other pieces through their store and have had a good experience through them. This piece quality is different than the shoe rack though. There is no wood backing so you can see into the cabinet, the shipping I paid is unfortunate because it was damaged but the store was

Exactly as pictured, and what I hoped for!

I purchased this cabinet to replace a broken shoe rack that has been sitting in my entryway for months. I love the style, and it was easy to put together (as long as you follow the directions!). There was only one time my husband and I made a mistake and had to go back a couple of steps to correct it
, but that was because I didn't look closely enough at the diagram. Pieces arrived very well packed and in good condition. Should be easy to swap out the handles with new ones if you'd like. We're able to fit 3 pairs of my husband's size 12 shoes comfortably on each shelf, and I plan to purchase some kind of organizer/shelf to fit more. My only complaint would be that there are a couple of tiny marks/holes on the front side of the doors that I think were supposed to be on the inside (perhaps to show where to attach a couple of the closure pieces). But they aren't noticeable unless you're really inspecting it, so it's not a problem. I recommend this cabinet!
