The assembly for this product was typical. There are diagrams with little to no words. Some pictures depict three holes for three screws, but the dresser would only have two pre-existing holes, and you would have to create the third. Color and size seem to be accurate. The size of the drawers are fine, but the depth when the drawers are pulled out seems shallow. The bottoms of the drawer and the back of the dresser are a very thin material. I recommend caution for the weight of things that are placed in the drawers. There are pins that are meant to go on the back of the dresser that stick out slightly and could scrape paint of any wall. End product does look nice, but it is not the quality of a furniture store. ... show more

There are several flaws with this piece of furniture. Mainly, once you discover the flaws, there is no way you can pack it back into the box to return it. This has to be the most difficult thing I have ever bought to assemble. One of the anchor holes was not drilled properly and we had to try to come up with a way to fill the oversized hole. After four hours, I resorted to drinking a vodka spritzer, and I rarely ever drink. We still cannot get the drawers to go onto the rails properly. We have removed the hardware and tried every way possible. Also the rails are crooked if you align them with the pre-drilled holes. The drawers fall apart and disassemble themselves very easily. I will figure out a way to make this work, but I recommend you find another cabinet. I’m stuck with this, but you have a choice. Make good choices. ... show more

    • Strong Off Gassing Odor made me sick

Medium difficulty & time to put together for 2 people. Cabinet looks very nice and feels quite solid and stable... HOWEVER, there is a strong off gasing odor. A 1/2 hour following assembling it, my eyes and nose began to burn in the small den it was placed in. I developed a headache, as well. Opening any drawer or the door let out a strong chemical odor and made it worse. We had to move this cabinet into the garage. I am past the return, so I will have to let it off gas in the garage and bring it in maybe in a month. Hopefully the odor will disappate. ... show more

I absolutely love this cabinet and am a big fan of the color! It is solid wood, very sturdy, and the perfect fit. My daughter put it together for me and said that it wasn't hard to do. It was more than I wanted to spend, but it was definitely worth the money spent. It is the perfect fit for my bedroom. I wish the drawers were a little longer (front to back), but they are not too bad. The cabinet has a lot more storage than I thought that it would. I wold like there to be a reversed option of this same cabinet, so I could have one for the other side of the bed - I like the drawers next to the bed. The only drawback that I noticed was the smell - it had a slight odor for about a week, which I think probably came from the paint processing. It wasn't overwhelming and was definitely not bad enough for me to not consider buying it again. I am very, very happy with this purchase!! ... show more

The color is beautiful and the fit was perfect for the space. Some of the holes for the dowel rods didn't align properly so I left them out and there was a small Crack on one of the parts (which explains the 4 stars). The crack isnt visible and I dont think it affects the integrity of it, overall. It still feels sturdy enough for its intended use, so it's fine for me. Light green is what I bought; I would say its like a dark shade of sage. I love it. ... show more

I wanted to replace my nightstand with a cabinet that had drawers and shelves. The drawers are smaller than what I had, but that made me get rid of a lot of junk. I’ve put together a fair share of small furniture, so I didn’t have a problem with the directions. All the parts were there, and everything lined up. The directions say it’s a two person job, but I did it by myself. It’s not a true navy, but it blends in against my navy blue wall well enough.
