  • Great Product!
Style: YardStash Heavy Duty
Love the very heavy, strong vinyl material. Great zippers and overall construction. We had a major rain and windstorm a few nights ago. YardStash did not leak a drop and did not move in spite of the galeforce winds that blew through the RV park where we are currently staying (we are full-time RVers). A great investment for those extra items that need a good, waterproof and solid space when not traveling. Cons? One... it's very difficult to put up initially because of the roof design. Wouldn't have been an issue but it really needs two people to erect it quickly. ... show more

  • Great outdoor storage, AWFUL zippers
Style: YardStash Lightweight
Got this to store two bikes in it as it made more sense to have them outside instead of inside (we live in a very temperate climate so winters and summers aren't too wild). Has plenty of space for bikes! The giant problem is OH MY GOODNESS the zippers are TERRIBLE. They CONSTANTLY separate while zipping, takes a buttload of re-zipping, and are ridiculously frustrating to keep going. It's almost enough where I don't want to use my bike because I'm going to spend a literal 10 minutes (I've timed it) trying to zip the door back up. I keep re-doing zipping over and over. If it wasn't because of the downright atrocious zippers, I'd be recommending this to other people. Otherwise, go get a different one. Not worth it. ... show more

  • Durable & roomy
Style: YardStash Lightweight
Easy to assemble and lasted 4 years in the brutal Florida sun. Assembled the enclosure by my self the first time but it was much easier with help the next time. Suggest lubricating pole joints to make the poles easier to come apart if you ever want to dismantle and store after long term use. Good quality and value. ... show more

  • Quality materials yet still unsturdy
Style: YardStash Lightweight
In this review i will address three things: sturdiness of tent, size of tent, and finally my neighbors cat pees on the tent. First sturdiness. I put this together and despite the materials being all high quality the constructed tent is unsturdy. I have mine placed on cement so I cannot stake it out but I assume staking it out would make it sturdier. Secondly the size. I have two bikes one fits in fine, the second does not fit unless I really maneuver the angles to get it in and out. This is too much of a hassle so I stopped storing my larger bike in here. I suggest reading dimensions of this and if your bike is going to “just fit by a few inches” it’s not worth the hassle of getting it in and out the smaller sized door. Lastly, my neighbors cat urinates on it. At least I hope it is the cat. All I know is that there is always urine on it. The urinator even found the little section where the zipper does not go all the way quite to the edge and got some pee pee inside the tent. ... show more

  • Great backyard storage for the price
Style: YardStash Heavy Duty
This was the (near) perfect solution for storing my bike and a few other items in a specific space in my relatively small backyard without spending hundreds (if not more) on a custom built shed (my first thought, before getting sticker shock and finding this). The YardStash was not too difficult to setup (see below) and is much more convenient for protecting a bike than a simple cover. Speaking of covers, the YardStash and accessories come in a nice little storage bag. I suppose that would be useful for those that plan on disassembling and moving the YardStash on a regular basis, but is a waste for the rest of us. I'm currently using the YardStash to store: 1 Bicycle + Helmet + Bikestand, 1 Bucket of paver sand, 1 small electric lawnmower, patio umbrella, and some miscellaneous gardening tools. It's a tight fit, but it works well. The tent, as advertised, fully protects the contents from rain and sun -- though the interior can get quite hot on summer days. Once I secured it with the provided stakes on 3/4 sides and weighted it down with a bucket of leftover sand, the tent has proven quite stable. Note that the first night that I set it up I was only able to stake the front poles and didn't put anything substantial in it -- The next day the wind nearly knocked it down. Since then, I haven't had any difficulties. There is enough flex in the supports to allow it to be compressed in width by at least 6-12" if necessary for tight spaces. In my case, I have it installed in a tight corner between my patio-deck and the side of the house. Two of the poles are secured just under my deck, and the others along my neighbors house. I was able to use the included stakes on 3/4 poles, but the last one happened to fall in the middle of a rock paver and couldn't be secured. Securing the back pieces was also a bit awkward, requiring me to partially detach the front supports so I could maneuver into the tight space to anchor the rare supports. I've also used a bike lock as a secondary support on the rare (unstaked) pole for extra stability during high winds, though that's likely not necessary now that I've placed a heavy bucket of leftover paver sand in that corner. Assembly is not difficult, but can be tricky at first. A second person is essentially required, especially if you have limited space -- you need a lot of room to assemble it comfortably. Inserting the poles for the roof support was one of the more annoying parts of the assembly, with the instructions not being entirely helpful. It is critical that you do not let the pieces of the support lock into place before inserting the rods -- once you've shimmied them fully into position, it's easy enough to let them snap into a locked place. If you fully assemble the rod before inserting it, you will never be able to slide it past the bend in the middle. Tip: Gluing an LED touch-light to the back or roof of the tent is a useful final touch to make it easier to find/store things at dusk. ... show more
