Absolutely zero side support. And the springs go from top to bottom. I can literally pinch the spring coils in between my fingers. Where are the foam layers? The illustrations in the ad show several layers of foam on top of the coils? Why can I grab the springs if there are any foam layers covering them? I don't know if this is a manufacturing defect or what, but I shouldnt be able to grab the springs. Also, it's labeled Tencel on the fabric embroidery, even though it's Yantan. Did they pull a switcheroo? I will wait the allotted time to expand in case there's a miracle, but this is most likely going back. T expanded pretty much instantly. Let's hope they stand by their 90 day easy return claim. Update: It's been 72 hours and this mattress is just as bad as when I first posted. You can feel the springs poking your body. Also, no where near the 12-inch mattress I paid for. This is like sleeping on a rollaway or pull out where you can bounce and feel the springs. It's honestly ridiculous.

I'm giving it 4 stars because the edges are a bit soft—they sink in if you lean on them—but once you actually lie down, it's very comfortable and firm. For the price, it's excellent; it's a comfortable mattress.

I got this mattress for our guest room and it ended up being such a good choice. It fluffed up nicely right after unboxing and didn’t have any strong odor. The medium firm feel is comfortable and supportive, which is perfect for different sleeping preferences since guests all like something a little different. It looks and feels much more expensive than it is, and everyone who has tried it says it sleeps really well. Super easy to set up and a great value for the quality. Perfect upgrade for a guest room! Space is tight, so the fact that this Twin Mattress came compressed in a box was fantastic—I got it up the stairs easily on a Saturday morning.It expanded quickly and had practically zero factory smell, which was a huge plus for my guests. I had a friend stay over last weekend, and he commented on how well he slept.
