This looked interesting so I picked it up. Overall the mechanism is a little challenging to build as the instructions aren't always that clear. Some strategy is involved in order to fit the parts together that might have spaces too tight to get to when on the model. As this is a knock off LEGO product, these are not official LEGO pieces so there are some quality control issues. This usually translates to pieces that may not fit as tight or as loose as they are supposed to and as this is a model with moving parts it will be an issue. I had no missing pieces, but the grey hoses included are not the correct type, although I think you can modify these easily with some scissors. I think the price is a bit high considering it's not an official LEGO produce, but I am happy with my purchase overall.

The media could not be loaded. My nephew really enjoys taking things apart and assembling them back on. And he always wants to try to build his own engine once. This is the perfect gift for him. The engine runs smoothly, and my nephew loves to watch it working. Good product for learning.

The pistons get caught on the frame of the engine constantly, the gearbox is only a two speed instead of the 3 speed that was stated on the website, gears keep on slipping. The only good thing is the packaging. Overall, I would not recommend this product, especially at this price point.
